Bah I knew when Kiwi said he targeted me that he had the ability to make people know their role. I debated revealing it, but because other people (doc especially), did not know who they were, revealing it would be just giving an incentive to kill him. Too bad he died next day.

And I thought the game theme was Legend of Zelda and because of the first item I thought TWO was scum. It came out right anyway though

Also having a 3rd party role and doc not knowing his role, doesn't really encourage you to reveal your role :(

This might have worked a little better if anyone targeted by the catalyst not only learns his role, but also becomes a catalyst himself. In this case, after kiwi targeted crab, crab would've learned he was a thief but would unknowingly also be 'catalyzing' anyone he targeted at night. A vanilla townie might even be told he is now a catalyst and he can target people at night.

It still would've been pretty frustrating though if nobody targeted you. :)

I was mafia? How in the hell would I have ever figured out my role on my own....oh, I wouldn't. It was a cool concept pancake but we would have needed more players or actions available to some people so we could discover our roles. I'm impressed though that was the first time I ever played a mafia game and didn't realize I was mafia  ....

I know there were a lot of problems with the setup. Originally, I had it so the catalyst had to die in order for roles to be revealed, but I changed it before Kiwi did anything. I probably shouldn't have changed it...

Also, I've made an edit to this post. Brace yourselves.
