To put an end to my multi-page ramblings, I will say. I am very disappointed in you all. Not just for letting the thread slip but because not one of you commented on the fact that I wasn't here.

If it's any consolation, I wasn't either. But I would have commented if I was here!

Okay, then I am disappointed with everyone with the exception of Hecter.

Wicked got banned, too. This place's going to the dogs.
I keep telling them "Never send a dog to do a wolf's job." But do they listen?

...or we could post posts that aren't catchphrases, or just say "my this thread is shit these days".
you're all to young to pine for the "good old days", especially when they're not that old.
say something. Preferably something worth reading, but something anyhow.
BTW, have you been away wolfie?

Yes, I have and like normal after I've been away for an extended period of time. I had a spam session to deal with it.

I managed to keep in touch (and play my games) all the time I was away.
When I got back my home PC had no internet. I was thrown out of a game for not taking my moves for the first time ever.

And on another topic, my daughter announced while we were away that she's become a veggie.
This was particularly bloody annoying since it was only weeks since she'd announced she was giving up red meat and I'd filled up the freezer on poultry.
IN some ways, I'm actually quite glad - in the UK I used to have a large number of veggie or vegan friends (and piscatorians, who still eat fish, which is actually what Poppy is right now). Seldom would I throw a party or a dinner without having to take into account a number of dietary peculiarities - which I used to rather enjoy.
To my surprise, nobody I've fed in the US has so far been a veggie. The only constraint has been that US people are agin eating offal for the most part on the grounds of "ooh that's yucky".
However, though I've often prepared formal food for veggies (and back in the days when I was single, used my veggie skills as a tool of seduction), I've never fed anyone everyday non-fancy meals day after day and taken veggieness into account.
I'm particularly not looking forward to her going back to school - she won't eat the school dinners on the basis that they're not as good as Daddy's cooking - but she's removed most sandwich options at a single stroke. Particularly as she (blasphemy of blasphemies) doesn't eat tomato.(Not to mention that she now pronounced it in the American way!)

Well... Just send her lots of bean salads to school. They're fairly easy to make and really nutritious with no tomato's, so...

Lots and lots of baked bean sandwiches, maybe some tofu and some fake meat.
I have vegetarian friends :]

All I can say is that I would never survive as a veggie. I have to have either chicken, steak, turkey, pork and/or deer no less than 2 times every day or I'll go crazy.

I almost forgot to mention this. I had a dream last night where I was running from these guys who were selling a werewolf blood based drug to pro athletes as a performance enhancer. The drug gave the athletes superhuman abilities without any major side effects when used properly but if it is not made right or if they overdose the user goes completely insane. In the dream I was a werewolf and the only person not involved with making the drug (or kidnapped to make the drug) that knew what was going on. I was on the run from the corporation responsible for making the drug but at the same time I was trying to find a way to get in contact with the news to report the story.
Unfortunately though I woke up before I could finish the dream.

Well, although I'm perfectly happy to cook for veggies of various shades, I usually reserve the right to explain why they're wrong, or, if they're right, how they're not going far enough.
In the past for instance i have enjoyed pointing out to vegans that they can't have naan bread, veggies that they have to beware of white sugar, all of them that gelatine-based products, cookies, etc have to be carefully examined.
This ceases to be a good idea when I have to cope with the increasingly-restricted diet.
It's karma, I guess. Like the fact that I never had hay fever until I took the pee out of a girl i worked with and her red nose. Next year (and ever since) I had all her symptoms and more.
I don't think I'd have any difficulty being a veggie, I'm a damn good cook and produce tasty meals under all sorts of constraints.
But I'd never do it. No more steak? No more Corned Beef? No more liver? Oxheart? Bacon? No Turkey even at Xmas? Bog off!

Wut? I've heard of/seen the porn/masturbated to/enjoyed that whole piss fetish thing but I didn't know it could give you hay fever...

Even if I could do without steak, ribs and all that other good stuff, I think I would probably fail at keeping protein in my diet.

Oh, those people who take things literally...
Other Brit ways of saying "I mocked someone"
"I extracted the Michael"
"I syphoned the bladder"
"I walked off with the Finn"
"I stole their specimen bottle"
_ all variations on "I took the Piss" or "I took the Mickey". I'm sure "Mickey" is rhyming slang for something, but I'm not sure what.
You enjoy piss porn? I have to say, yuck. Golden Showers are totally unerotic to me.

Ah. Crazy brits with their urine-related expressions...
Also, believe what I wrote about the piss porn thing or don't, as it may or may not be true. I say it's not true and that I was only joking, but can you really believe me? Many say you can't.

It's entirely possible. Perhaps even likely!

Not my business, just saying that it doesn't appeal to me.
Lots of things people do for sexual fun seem bizarre to me. Then again, I'm sure some of my kinkier acts and fantasies wouldn't be on some people's porn radar.
