i find it hard to unlock doors. it seems to take me longer than most people. i know the tighty right, lefty loosey rhyme. but locks still evade me.

Every time I have to open a bottle, or screw in a screw, or change a lightbulb, or whatever, I always have to guess and check which way to turn the item in question.

If you think about it, lefty loosey and righty tighty is all relative anyway, because you could be turning something to the right, but from a different POV you're turning it left.

Back on track.

Went to fight club this weekend, and have terrible pain and bruising on my chest where I got heel-kicked. If I tell my boss to take it easy on me, he'll just send me home. But today I got winded a couple of times. It's the first time I ever got into a fight and felt worse afterwords. Usually I take it in stride, but damn, that guy kicked like a mule. owww

I call it fight club, but it's not the same thing. It's been months since I've gone because all the other people who do go suck at life. For instance, I can never find anyone my size to fight, or they will only fight with full gear on. My only true fighting background is backyard boxing, and so I'm ok with boxing gloves and mouth guards. But I don't want to wear no stupid catcher's mask. It's always a dude noticeably bigger than me saying "bare knuckles" or "full gear."
Although, yes, I hesitate to talk about the fights, even here.
