I'm thinking the same thing. I don't think mandy is scum, just and odd bird.

But a name really is nothing, there are many possible scenarios, partly due to the complexity of many of QT's characters.

I think most of us are kind of lost over here.

If there's one thing i can say about mandy, he sure is good at making everything confusing as hell.

so do we wanna get rid of him so we can actually get down to business?
or are we assuming that Mr White is a valid claim and we ignore Mandy?
Because in either case, we need to start to move this along and get some productive activity (and yes, i understand that lately i have been neither active or productive, but I'm trying to change that).

I really don't know what to think about him. Trying to reason about why he'd act like that is pretty much textbook WIFOM.

If we're going on "gut feelings"(which i generally don't like to do) it doesn't feel like he's scum to me.

I would recommend that you should ignore mandy for now and concentrate on leads. I would personally prefer karelpieterje lynch at the moment, he is constantly skimming and has put nothing to the table of any use so far, text book scum behaviour.

I think claiming Mr. White like that is clever.
However, looking at my own role, I can conclude that whether or not the roles are protagonists in the movies doesn't matter, and that whether or not they are maffia kind of depends on what they do compared to the average citizen.

Mr. White is not quite the nice person. is he not the one cutting off an ear and almost burning alive a man who won't speak up? That's what the maffia would do.
I don't think claiming Mr White should get you a walk-free with no specifications on mafia/town

No, that's Mr. Blonde.

Mr. White is the one who gets attached to the undercover cop and kills the boss guys to defend him(and then kills him when he figures out he's a cop, but still).
At least that's what i remember, it's been a while.

Vote Mandy.

A few reasons.
1.He is try to lynch many different people, mainly for illogical reasons.
2. Mr. White sounds like no friend of the town
3. His reasoning for claiming was poor, I suspect it is either A: Lies. B: Half-Truth

This game has to get moving. If the others who are not posting don't get involved this game will slowly die.

No that was Mr. Blonde with the torture scene. Mr. White was Harvey Keitel, the older, experienced jewel thief. He takes Mr. Orange under his wing, so to speak. Mr. Orange was the under-cop who got shot.

Perhaps we should get this game moving. D2 has lasted a while. Should we no lynch, or actually try and vote someone? We've already lost three townies. Maybe a vote count would be in order? I'm much too lazy to do it myself though.

Reading what you guys are saying about Mr. White and Mr. Orange I also find the claim that Mr. Orange would be scum very improbable. Why would mandy say that when it didn't fit the story of the movie?

Karelpietje is still suspicious imo for that last post ("I don't think claiming Mr White should get you a walk-free with no specifications on mafia/town") since there was speculation on mafia/town. Kind of an overreaction there.
