I didn't accuse you of attacking me in my last post. And I'm not sure overagressiveness can be defended. I think its just a scumslip and one that cannot be taken back.

So, until something better comes along, I'm not moving my vote.

Well as for sully's not being on the site for 2 weeks, you dont need to be logged in to see the forums. You can just go to it when your not logged in.
That's just plain paranoid.

Yes, but it is valid at times (just likely not now due to meta) I will on occasion avoid logging in if I know I need more time to prepare an adequate defense.

Yes, but for two weeks? When people are loudly calling for your head? And all you need to do is confirm?

The () part is important. What I am saying is that his point is valid under some circumstances, but this is not one of them.

Sully really needs to post his claim. I'll add my vote there later if needed, but for now, it's not enough for me to lynch him over.

Unvote, Vote Ghostly.

Doom can be checked out and/or lynched later. Ghostly did slip at the beginning and now trying to back track it a bit. Plus, a lot scummier than an inactive.

As far as sully. Sully has been MIA several times from this site recently and I am sure for good reasons. He has been a strong proponent of mafia and been a valued Mod. Heck he got me hooked on mafia. I do not believe his absence has been some mafia ploy.

BUT I would think some explanation, some inkling of why he has been absent would eleviate concerns. To say "I he will reply in a few days" right before deadline is stupid. He is not a noob to Mafia. Some have said that they think he should be given time to build a case in his defense, which is BS. Being gone for two weeks is not a crime that needs defending. It is what it is.

The point I am making is that he was targeted because he was in essence dead weight...lynch the inactive. He finally came around, BUT his reply raised several questions. If you have time to reply at least say something that offers an explanation to your absence. He said only he will be gone a few more days and then he would post when he got around to it, which would be during the first night.

Why say anything if you are not going to say anything?

his absence deserves the 50% chance lynch in my opinion, if he is buisy and comes just to say that he will be reading up in a few days is no good for me.
a) he is not giving himself any precise deadline," a few days" can be jumping back and not saying anything of subsance in 4-5 days then leave again for god knows how long. or even not posting anything in 4-5 days. won't wait without een knowing for how long.
b) he is not even saying "sorry been buisy with X, and I expect to have more time in Y time" so who knows if he will have time to play in the near future?

basically, if he comes here and defends himself he has his chance if not well we gave him enough time. he didn't stop being adeadweight because of an empty post.

I'm a "human". Nothing more. By the sound of my role PM there are multiples of this, so I'm sure others can confirm.

Still working on reading up.

I guess we can't really ask any more of Victor, given his claim. Doom's followup seems to be an indication of approval, but interpreting him so far hasn't been too successful. I'm willing to follow him on this one, though. Enough's been said today, no need to shed blood just yet.

Vote No Lynch

I reserve the right to change that opinion over the course of the next three days. At this moment, I see no particularly good course of action. It looks like I am gonna get my ghostly/jak wish, though. *goes to get popcorn*

With Sully claiming and being more active there isn't really much of a case against him anymore.

Also after we finally got a real explanation from Doom, I'm willing to leave that issue alone.

There have been no other posts that I think are strong enough for a vote. Maybe something will happen before the deadline, but until then...

vote no lynch

Sorry for the inactivity, had midterms.

Most of the last 8 or so pages I read had to do with whether or not Doom was jesterish or whatever. Regardless, with Sully back, the only realistic case I might support is maybe an inactive. I really don't think we have enough on Doom to pin him as scum, and anyone who is a human in Lovecraft Mythos (and I mean PURE human, no half breed stuff) has significantly more town cred from a flavor standpoint. Several of the themes of the book is someone finding out they're not quite fully human or that humans have been cursed/blessed with otherwordly powers which make them quite grotesque. If indeed Doom and Sully are claiming full human, it's definitely something that would make me think twice about voting them.

well not a lot of stuff happened today. i wonder if it was worth asking to change the deadline, this will end up in no lynch most probably.

it wasn't I won't vote NL out of principle. I still think we should hang vic, he isn't going to help, he is just going to scummarine till the end of the game.

Extending the dead line was BS. Sully popped in once and because of that we get to sit on our ass.

I say in the future if people don't show up let the chips fall where they may. If you sign up to play mafia you know what is expected and what can happen.

Before we go to night, I still need an answer from elon. I said he is lying because he has the same role I do. He denies this. I need him to clarify whether I am wrong, or he is just confused.

Elon, were you in fact lying?

You are wrong Doom. If anyone is lying here, it is you. I'm still unsure why you attacked me.

this is plain rolefishing doom. you are making up stuff to make him claim.
