Pushing a lynch and claim aren't the same of course.

Having said that since it is getting closer to deadline i am guessing, pushing mitch a claim is kind of still easy lynch pushing because lets face it, if mitch claims d1, it is just as likely people are going to oh ok, and lynch him anyway.

Nothing about mitch screams best choice to me. Essentially he had a day action where he visited storr day 1. It seems reasonable to believe he wouldn't know what would happen, which seems to be corroborated by Hotshot.

Storr seems to have filled in some of the gaps, but my assumption is none of that has really been alignment tied on its own merits.

People pushing a lynch on mitch are scummier for pushing an easy lynch.

2 things. It seems to me everyone can visit someone during the day but your post implies that you cannot. True/false?
And my original post adressed why scum do not need to get rid of mitch. He is as much an asset to scum as he is to town. He draws lots of suspicion and is very difficult to read,also very difficult to analyze and hes often uncooperative and intentionally misleading even when town.
So who do you think is the best target here Tonka?me/mars/IB for the push on mitch?

Mitch has not really done that as much as was made out to be though. You were calling for a mitch lynch as soon as he posted, and since that post he has not really flavor posted.

Out the three listed I would think it is you based on your persistence with a mitch lynch.

Anyone actually think I should explain my understanding of flavour? I think not. Yes I have a very good idea who Storr and Madmitch are. This I have gained from research. No I dont think I should actually tell you.

Ok, don't tell us. But you seem pretty convinced about things that could go a few ways. You say mitch is not Rand? If he didn't do much research, I can see 2 things in his posts that suggest he might be. You say you know that Storr's role is town? I can think of a case for a 3rd party who corrupts those who take his gifts, and might potentially win when half the vote is controlled. I could potentially see a case for a scum with the role (evil merchant), but I feel like that one is a bit of a stretch. Further, the town character only really gives one kind of item - I'm not sure where this multiple items thing is coming from. For the time being, I'm still leaning town with Storr, and I do think that it's the character I think you think he is.

I dont think he is mafia because of the mechanics of the role and not because of flavour. My understanding fails at third party characters, so I would agree that he could be third party. That said I think we both agree that there is one character who fits perfectly and who is definitely town.

@Storr- claim 3rd party now or dont claim it. I thought you had already claimed town anyway.

Streakers read is similar to mine, very little point making a read on Virus until he makes his next post, which I thought was due last night so will appear tonight. His first long post was mostly just reacting to himself being under pressure which isnt enough. There is more than enough now for Virus to make positive contribution, lets see if he does.

(And to answer your question, claim 3rd party on Day1 and I will push a lynch hard. Its the only day when it makes sense to kill 3rd party survivors)

i must say i skimmed through the last 2 pages (Since dd long post). which i will try to catch up on later.
but something bugged me about a post made by talapus on page 10.

I don,t know how many people have the ability to visit somebody but I know I did that was my only day ability and hopefully I can use it for town . Ido not understand endgame vote against me but it is quite unremarkable and slightly scummy FOS

Now I'm confused. You said visiting someone was your only day ability but in the prior post you didn't know what you were trading for. That makes it sound like you instigated the trade but until you found out what you were getting you weren't going to go through with it. So what is it Mitch, visit someone and trade, or just visit and the trade some how happened?

Because it sounds like you have more then the ability to just visit people. Also, was this a fair trade? Because you said you got something awesome. The reason I ask is because it is fairly easy to prove if someone traded something mutually with you. However, there is the possibility you visited someone and stole an ability and there was no trade. So again, please clarify.

ok this get complicated, language wise. with lots of he knew that he didnt knows etc, so ill try in points:

3. talapus asks mitch what happened, thus showing that he didnt know, that people dont know what happens with their day visit.

Hilarious. Because it's day one and I haven't formed many opinions yet as to who is scum is a scum tell? I'm sorry I'm not jumping on the meta discussions of some players but I just haven't played with enough of you yet to come to a meta decision...not that I would anyway. I tried following your logic in your post with this quote but ya got lost. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on in this game so perhaps you could cut me some slack as I am totally out of the loop on the story it self.

Let's not even go down this road as this is a large assumption and can take us somewhere we really don't want to go. The mod said,

Mod Note: Day Action Results are being sent out now. Those two who didn't send an action in are considered to not have used it since i gave notes on this with a deadline yesterday.

Technically storr could have sat on his ass and done nothing and still get visited by two players and god only knows what everyone else was capable of doing. But the mod said he wanted everyone active in both day/nitgh cycles which means in my mind there is a lot going on. That and the fact he posted in the main thread that two players didn't get their actions in tells me I think players have more options than just visiting other players. So there is no benefit to really ask what everyone did during the day at this point as it sounds like evryone of us did something with the exception of 2.

Also why even mention that scum needs to not get rid of mitch? At this point in time storr has already come forward and verified he gave out abilities for votes and Mitch claims to be one of the two that got an "awesome" one. If scum is smart they are obviously going to target storr not mitch. I only have experience playing with mitch in one other game so hope he doesn't do like he did last time as base it entirely of flavour, but II doubt mitch is the target for scum tonight based on what is already been found out.

I kind of disagree with this actually for the fact I think they would go with storr over mitch. But if a claim is what the majority want to go for I would say that mitch needs to keep what he got for the trade a secret as another player got an ability as well. If it turns out mitch is scum or town at least mafia won't know what kind of abilities storr is handing out. I'm not exactly sure storr should be selling himself as the candy man with the coolest stuff in town to hand out. But I'd bet town and mafia will target him so he may actually live to see tomorrow in which case I'm sure many will visit for what I am assuming are one shot abilities.

I have an observation for you storr.

At this point in time you sell yourself as the guy everyone wants to keep around and I'm ok with that for now. I think you made yourself a target for the night but will probably be targeted from both ends of the spectrum so will probably survive. Regardless of what was said or claimed, I'd definitely lead more third party maybe survivor for your roll but am still looking through info on the story to try and figure out who you may be. Regardless, the trade by you sounds like it has to get accepted for you to hand out whatever you do for a vote. Theoretically, I am assuming multiple parties will visit you game day 2 assuming you live through the night as apparently you have something we all want.

At that point in time it would be entirely possible and probable that you'd own the majority of town/mafia voting power D2 and it sounds like you don't learn alignment when you are visited. From one player with one vote, that's a fairly scary prospect going into the next day. And you said you'd still let those guys use their votes as they see fit and I think that's huge. Question is though, do you feel comfortable doing that tomorrow? Or are you the type that when disgagrees with the current majority, going to go your own way and over rule the rest of us?

I merely ask not as an accusation, but as I have only one other game experience to base this on. In HP, you seemed like you were on town's behalf but haven't played enough with you to get a feeling either way. So am just curious.

Oh good lord, calm down wing. I had time during my break to respond to several things. I'm sorry my timing doesn't align the way it ought to in your perfect world. As I said in another post there is contributing and there is meta discussion and I refuse to base arguments off of that. Everything else so far is slim to non-existant as it is day one. I am not one of the players to make a mountain out of a mole hill on day 1.

You made that observation on Wing and since then nada,zip, zilch. I am beginning to think you are a one trick pony. You come out of the gate and super pressure a player, usually Hotshot this time Wing, find a discrepancy in how they post and consider it a scum tell. You get pushed back and disappear only to post general one liners that help no one. Because you believe something does not make it so.

@Talapus obviously I'm not going to allow myself to be lynched. I doubt anyone who would want to vote for me would trade me though. Besides that I might make an executive decision at the end of the day, since I do value lynches happening. So I'd I see people who have votes going no where I'll tell them to move them, or do so myself at the end of the day.
