Every last reputable dictionary or other source will tell you that both honor and honour are correct. If Lack wants the spelling to be Canadian/British to be consistent -- fine. But don't go around saying the "-or" ending is just wrong. No -- you are wrong, and there's no arguing about it. Now please stop this before I give in to the temptation to flame you. Plus, I normally respect what you do and what you've done for this site -- don't ruin my image of you now.yeti_c wrote:I apologise for wanting correct spelling on the maps on the site.InkL0sed wrote:Honestly, that really ticks me off. I'd like this only if names are sorted alphabetically in the order the numbers are sorted right now. Otherwise, it'd be annoying to find one of ninety names in the desert.DiM wrote:or better yet forget about all the numbers and just put in some real names![]()
please
and by the way, Canadian is the english way, and Canadien is the original French way of spelling it.oaktown wrote:of course, they can't quite decide on whether or not they are "Canadians" or "Canadiens" but whatever.
I have to say that's a biased site - cos it's *shock* an american site...wcaclimbing wrote:If you enter Honour into Dictionary.com, it redirects you to Honor.

But that ^^^ is never right anywhere - it should be there.gimil wrote:Yeti, rocky the convesation about who spells what correctly is OVER. Off topic or even flame war is their if you guys feel the need to continue this debate. However it should be spelt should be left to wc since both ways are correct it their own countries.
I think that is what I'll be doing.rocky mountain wrote:like i said before, i like the North 1-46/South 47-91. not just plain 1-91, or North 1-46/South 1-45. combine them to make everyone happy.
