Not really. Explain how asking if Corleone was mentioned in other townies PMs helps scum at all? You might call it an OMGUS but I can't remember you posting anything else of value in this thread, and you just come in and jump on the most convenient bandwagon.

Because the scum do not know who the town are and vice-versa and so asking for anything mentioned in the PM is an direct way of getting info about the role which helps in scum picking targets and thus makes you look ultra-scummy

All I can say is it was probably a mistake in hindsight, and I was trying to catch Firth out. You can pressure me to the point where I have to claim but it will do you no good. All these people who have contributed nothing to the thread, and picking up on one thing someone who's been posting alot has said that can be percieved as scummy is just ridiculous. Do you really think scum would make themselves as high-profile as I have?

I thought WIFOM was where you had to choose between two players e.g two players claiming cop? I don't see how this is anything like that. I'm just saying maybe some of the people keeping a lower profile are better targets..

This attack on Icedagger seems a bit bandwagoney. It doesn't mean the idea is wrong, but every time a bandwagon forms its good to slow down and take a look at the information. Icedagger did act kind of scummy for that instance, but it could just be from poor play rather than being intentionally scummy. I'm not sure we have the information to say Icedagger is the 100% choice for a day 1 kill, especially with no day limit.

This can be said as a loose case of WIFOM, loose because there are only choices, scum are keeping low profile and scum are not keeping low profile. When the latter is used against them, they can just argue that since they are very active, they cannot be scum; or in the former's case, since scum generally keep low profile, if they were scum they certainly wouldn't be doing it which contradicts the assumption and hence they cannot be scum.

Hell yes, many players in this very game will be active, or even over-active, when scum. I bet if we lynched the top 5 posters in this thread, at least 2 of them would be scum.

I also don't think that icedagger is scum, which I have said several times. So I will not support the bandwagon on him.

Remember guys, he attacked ME, and even when he did it I said I thought he was town. *shrug*

I also really agree with why Wicked has been so non-communicative. It is not like her to sign up for games and then not be active in them.

It's not like I'm saying I'm sure that the guy is likely to be scum, but the thing is, on day 1, we really have no clue who is who. So when I see some behavior that is sketchy, I apply pressure. It doesn't matter who else thinks it's sketchy -- I act based upon what makes sense to me.

I can't believe that some people are saying that he "did act kind of scummy for that instance" (riggable), and yet FOSs me for voting him. What do you guys suggest we do? Wait until someone screws up so bad that we're 100% sure he's scum?

ok, here are my thoughts

Fos: Icedagger IMO he did seem a bit scummy, and generally misguided. Where he talks about wanting to see townies claim thing so he doesn't have it, it does seem pretty scummy, though I'm not sure if all of his scummyness and misguidedness is enough to join onto his badnwagon. But if this day goes on for too long, I'd seriously consider it.

Also as Kalish pointed out, where is Rebelman. First he only posts pointless stuff and now he's gone, that's a bit of a shame. Did he run out of spam to fill up the pages.

And sorry for the sucky results, I hate having to read through so many pages, and Tonka has even more, I forget most of my thoughts.

Guys, this is pretty standard Day 1 action. Whether or not it is a bandwagon isn't too critical, this is how the first day goes. All the time, in every game. We'd be clutching at straws to try and find some solid evidence on anybody at this point in time, so information is what we need.
