Yet, nobody seems to think Grandpa McCains treatment of his first wife is a problem. He admittedly screwed around on her after he returned from duty to find her injured from a car accident, and then left her to recover on her own while he chased the young skirts until he found a rich one he could dump her for. Nice guy...such integrity, but HEY, HE'S A WAR HERO! HURRAH!

And what of his current marriage? His wife Cindy admittedly STOLE from a charity she created to provide medical aid to developing countries. Why did she steal? To fund her drug addiction to Vicodin and Percoset. But hey, she's better now! Bygones! That's in the past! She's just a normal woman now. A normal, very rich woman who has charged as much as $500,000 in a single month to her AMEX card. And really whats wrong with that? We all spend a little now and then right? I am sure they both are very much in touch with the day-to-day finances you and I must endure in these troubled times.

The two parties are just different sides of the same coin. Our debts will continue to mount until our main lender (China in case you didn't know, the guys with our best interests at heart) eventually stops giving. Hell, they'll probably demand we pay back the trillions we owe them. Neither party would do anything about this as they're too busy garnering votes to actually save our country from the oncoming economic collapse. They even managed to convince the entire country that they're different in any way. What a laugh! Every few years Congress turns over and we get more of the same bull shit. We consistently fail to notice that aside from red herring garbage like abortion and immigration neither party plans to fix our rotting system.

Also, I assume your reference to the Democrats and the energy crisis indicates that you feel that the best way to deal with the dwindling oil supply is to dig up the last bit we have on our soil. Well let me ask you, after we put that Band-Aid over the leaking dam, what exactly is the plan? Pretend everything's OK and wait for our last reserves to run out? Hell, wouldn't we need that bit we have left for when shit really hits the fan? If we drill our oil now we'll just use all of it to get around very fast. Wow, that's great. The stuff we use to make fucking plastic is going to be used on getting around very fast. Brilliant.

You know what the worst part is though? As the stock market plummets, as the dollar continues to fall, as our debt continues to rise, and as we continue to willingly live our consumerist, corporate-dictated lives, the biggest complaint that our moronic citizenry has is that gas is too expensive. Oh no, not that! We might be inconvenienced! How are we supposed to continue to live beyond our means and keep frittering away precious resources when we can't fill up our Hummers? It makes me sick. Actually China is drilling off the coast of FL, but we arent. But no I don't think just drilling for oil is what we need, but we do need it. You can't take a whole country and just say oh well no more oil or ok maybe if you can afford it you can still heat your homes. My point is they should be debating this every single day...it is the number one crisis in america. So if you pay close attention, they won't even debate because then their constituents will write letters telling them oooh that sounds like a good idea vote for that. They even want to take away all the tax breaks they now give for energy, whether wind, solor etc. They don't really seem to have an energy policy and we need one.
