No one was to leave the town hall that day, with the revelation that even the late sheriff was corrupt; there would be no law to control the events that day. They would not be governed any longer, except by the base instincts within their bodies, one person claimed the voices in their head told them the identity of another member of the gang. No matter how illogical the claim sounded, the wound up townsfolk of Two Sides immediately captured and beat the suspect.
Their aggression continued through the day, from the start it was apparent that they would kill the suspect, and the suspect was composed and candid throughout, not once hiding their vicious intent, their voice filled with an otherworldly power, their mocking echoed for hours through the hall;
“What’s wrong with all of you? You people hit like you’re already dead! Did you people taste the wine I brought?” The mafia member smirked and laughed
Finally the sun was setting, the battered criminal had one last word of discouragement, “This isn’t over, I’ll go on ahead to wait for you people with the Inquisitor, go ahead and die soon…” with that, it was over.
