So lets get this straight, Tim has one vote on him but is already lynched. He is assuring us of his good standing in the community while his number one scumlord(SKW) is seemingly too stupid to frame Tim. Meanwhile Tims post looks like a 4 year old wrote it. Then he points the finger at masterminds mitch and epi. Mitch the guy that normally has incorrect posts and Epi who seems like the voice of reason.

If that wasnt nuts enough...wait for it wait for it....Mitch makes his most coherent post of the game. While calling Tim too honest to be scum...and then says hes normally on legit drugs..

Why the hell should you be protesting that everyone is out to get you when only one person is voting you and few if any of the remaining players are even looking at you? You're panicking here.

You've never even been in a L-1 position, that doesn't sound like everyone being all over you. You are making a mountain out of a molehill, insulting people who have no eye on you, so again, I say, panic.

The point was, you said you would vote for yourself if you could, which as close to threatening to vote yourself as you can get in this game. Which I reiterate, I have been told is a highly scummy move.

im not willing to go tim although the fast kill on aage when there was still heaps of time i find off.. if he is cop then he is as good as dead during the night anyway.. probably way off but now im looking at epi...

*joined to help with experience and help things flow but hasnt been that prominent and then instead of saying he was busy or had nothing to add he uses the excuse pt hand fed him about letting the newbys learn to drive so he wasnt taking over
*made it well known that aage was one of the most experienced players here which puts extra focus on him and he gets voted
*votes for raz without giving him a chance.. perhaps to push us to get rid of another experienced player
*Raz puts him on his list of possible suspects and then raz ends up dead
*instead of answering bos about whether SOMEONE should counterclaim if they have the role he asks if she is counterclaiming... scum would be interested to know that info i assume

however aage was the one spelling out what usually happens on day 1 which implies he has played a few games before... so the statement seems odd... also strange that you were pushing tim hard and then voted mitch but ended up pushing the aage vote too like anyone would do as long as someone got killed...

Not a good idea. I am as neutral as Switzerland at the moment, I am 50/50, so you need to stay around to answer any questions if you want to help the Town.

I think you need to go back and read again. I was not aware Aage had played Mafia at the time I made that statement. If you care to check, someone else informed me of the facte he had played mafia elsewhere. I can't possibly know if anyone has played offsite, so when I was informed of his experience offsite, I looked at him with new eyes and reacted accordingly

On what page did I vote mitch? I don't remember doing that. Not saying I didn't, but I really don't remember doing that--could just be typically living in the moment unless something sticks with me. I have expressed suspicions of him, but that's all I remember doing as I always found others more suspicious.

How likely do you think it is that the Mafia didn't do anything about Tim, because they hope we will take out our cop now and they get to kill another Townie at night? I am not saying that I believe that's the case, I am still trying to work it out. If that's what they are up to, than we only have 3 Townies left on day 3, which would be extremely bad.

I am going to ask the same question again and of course I welcome all your ideas, but Iwould most definitely like to hear something from Epi about this.

I am inclined to believe Tim and I think there are some great masterminds at work who had a lot of fun N1. "Let's NOT kill Tim, Town will go crazy!!!"

I had no idea who had played before either but page 4 when aage describes a typical day 1 and what happens usually, it pretty much tells us he has played before... And it was page 10 u voted Mitch then page 11 aage

I don't always pick on subtle cues (despite my name, lol). I have to look long and hard to pick up on them, and even then sometimes miss them. I honestly missed that one. The rest of my point still stands, though--once I realized he WAS a veteran I looked at him through new, harsher eyes.

We don't need all the pieces to start puzzling. Since this game is intended as a tutorial game, I'll elaborate a bit. Day one is usually very boring. There will always be people who don't post much - this is either because they're not online, or because they don't have anything to comment on. Sitting around waiting for them to post helps in neither case. As town, it's better to make a move yourself than to sit on your hands. Wcw's and rizky's presence is not required for us to make these moves, because we will play our role and respond to each other regardless of them. Hiding behind their absence instead of participating is scummy, in my opinion. This is also the reason I 'made a move' against Tim. I want to see how Tim responds, yes, but it is also intended to see how others respond.
I kind of view day one as fencing, everyone is trading blows, parrying, trying to find openings in each other's defence. The real discussion and scumhunt will come later.

Of course, if people are being prodded and choose not to post once the game gets going, that would be suspicious.


Epi, I'm glad you're annoyed My suspicions of Tim were mostly fueled by this post of his. I admit it's not the strongest of arguments, but it's day one and seemed good enough for me to comment on.

The fact I don't pick up on subtle cues all the time, is why my reading back over the entire thread was kind of important, it allowed me to sift through it at my pace, instead of having to wait hours or even days.

Something else has been crossing my mind, but I forgot to mention it. If Tim is being framed, I don't think there is a Role Blocker in this game.

Mafia had no idea who Tim was going to investigate, so it could have been someone useful (instead of me). If Mafia is trying to trick us into lynching him ourselves, and they have a Role Blocker, I think they would have used it. In that case Tim would have come back to us without any result and I think we would have lynched him within hours after that.

Also, besides focussing on Tim, we need to be aware that there are two liars in our midst. If we are not sure about Tim, we can also try and go for the second suspect. Mafia will definitely not let Tim live another night, will they? And this time, we could tell him who to investigate.

And yet another question... If we don't catch scum today, it's 3 vs 2. Are there scenarios possible where this means game over?

Nah, scum only win when they control a majority of the votes. Even at 3-2, the scum would still have a chance to lose if town played well or got lucky.

I don't know which way to go bos.. If we believe tim then I have 3 ppl I know I can trust however seeing as noone is entirely sure of him the mafia may choose to not kill him again seeing as we don't know if his info is useful or not.. Now I don't know which way to go so going to see what the others say..
