The ball of yarn is fully unraveled! After Swetnick has been completely debunked, all eyes have now turned to Ford.
Ford's ex-boyfriend of six years has just released a notarized affidavit accusing Ford of perjuring herself.
During Ford's testimony to the judiciary committee she was asked if she had ever helped "coach or prepare anyone" for a polygraph examination or had ever studied the mechanics of the polygraph. She answered an emphatic "no." It turns out this question may have been a perjury trap.
In the statement from Ford's boyfriend he says he was present in the same room on one occasion when Ford provided an extended coaching session on how to succeed at a polygraph exam to a friend who was applying to the FBI. Ford then also claimed that she had read a number of scholarly articles on polygraph.
The False Statements Accountability Act of 1996 sets a penalty of five years imprisonment for lying to the Congress of the United States (or 8 years if the lies involved domestic terrorism). Jessica Liu, recently appointed by President Trump as United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, is responsible for prosecuting liars. Female liars from the western United States are imprisoned at FCI Victorville in the Mojave Desert.

According to the Sentencing Guidelines Calculator (https://www.sentencing.us/), Ford should expect one of the following prison terms after she's convicted:
- 10-16 months provided she "clearly demonstrates acceptance of responsibility for her offense"
- 15-21 if she does not
- 18-24 months if the court determines her lies resulted in "substantial interference with the administration of justice" (if the vote delay causes KAV to miss the opening of the new Supreme Court session I'd say this seems reasonable)
I wonder if Ford will be cellmates with Reality Winner (serving a 5 year prison sentence for her hair-brained scheme to stop the momentum of MAGA)?

She guilty until proven innocent right?
BTW, the cement for the potted plants would be better used building the boarder wall. Less government waste the better.

You don't get cancer once a doctor diagnoses it. The diagnoses is just a confirmation of the disease that already existed.

Do you think that Kavanaugh is still a liar when it comes to sexual assault?

Calls are mounting for Swetnick and the Democrats' other false accusers to be jailed - could prosecutions lead all the way to Feinstein herself?

First arrest made!
Jackson Cosko, a 27 year old intern ( ) for a Democratic congresswoman, has been arrested by the Capitol Police on witness tampering charges over an effort in which he was involved to unlawfully interfere with KAV's confirmation.
Cosko will be convicted in DC district court of the serious charges which carry up to five years in prison. If he has no record he'll likely serve his sentence at Federal Work Camp Yankton in South Dakota.
Let's hope Swetnick is next!

- cyber security expert
- unauthorized access of a government computer
- waged internet campaign aimed at bogging down the senators working on the confirmation
I wonder how much the Russians paid him!!!

Flake and Collins responding to the FBI report with a pro-Kav lean. I fully expect confirmation now.

TIL Jeff Flake and Susan Collins are Democrats.
EFT: They're not. They're Republicans who think if they mention the awful things Trump does but still vote for all the parts of the Trump agenda that Republicans care about (writ simply, making the US better for rich people) that history will give them a pass.

Everyone's always known that. That's why Flake lost his seat and Collins' only chairmanship is of the Committee on Aging.

The Democrats are hilarious.
They have spent the last two years braying about the noble professionalism of the brilliant FBI which stands between the U.S. and Russia. They've spent the last two weeks beating their chests saying only the noble FBI can produce a report that gets to the bottom of the matter.
So, the FBI did just what they wanted and found no corroboration.
Now the Democrats are calling the FBI incompetent, infiltrated by Russia, and the report a whitewash. It's like this scene from TMC -

Update:
- FBI investigation wasn't allowed to investigate much of anything, report ended early.
- White House seems to have blocked Kavanaugh and Ford from speaking to the FBI, as either or both would have damaged Kavanaugh's case.
- There's like one copy of it, and it's so secret that the public aren't allowed to see it.
- Vote coming up tomorrow maybe

I wonder why the White House didn't use this previously unknown power to stop Michael Cohen from talking to the FBI.

Was that part of a White House controlled investigation? Thought that was a DoJ thing.

The FBI is an agency of the DOJ. All FBI investigations are DOJ investigations.
You're saying that FBI background checks of Presidential nominees are not under the purview of the White House? Did anyone tell the White House that? It's news to me.
