In my biaised opinion, this post wins the scummiest of the day award Elements pointed by Nag do look a bit scummy objectively (although I already defended myself about them), but to want to vig someone you know nothing about is like mafia calling for an extra townie killed.

I got mad at Cena cause this kind of loopholes were very frown upon back in the day (and more recently in Wandlore) and I never saw anything refering to it being allowed in this game before Lovo notified it. Frankly I'm not sure why... It does have the potential to screw a game. *shrugs* If I was scum I'd be happy being given free info about the town WC to make a better fakeclaim if needed

Anyway, enough irrelevant stuff. The cases on Illy and Jnd make sense, between the two though I'll go for the Jnd lead. Mostly because the Illy case looks a bit thinner as it seems more like a playing style issue (to keep a vote or change it quickly) so we're only left with his initial Clive busy rl defense. Jnd's reaction on the other hand did seem authentically disgusted, while good little townies rejoice when scum screw up so badly. Experience or quality of play don't really matter there, I remember LSU for example bitching endlessly his terrorist partner Kiwi that had bombed himself too early in NV5 Sometimes reactions like that just go through, and to see it as a slipup makes sense to me.

People I do not see the reason why you are voting me. I do not unvote. There is no point if a couple of people have already unvoted.
Jnd on the other hand looks like scum, and if he does come up as scum firth has some questions to answer

This post apparently somehow shows that jnd was upset with clive blowing his cover. I have 2 very big objections to this kind of reasoning.
1) This is an ONLINE FORUM. You don't see jnd's face. You can't hear his intonation. It's impossible to tell from those 14 words how jnd is feeling deep down inside. FOS all people who are voting jnd for that reason (which is everyone with their vote on jdn except MountainLion)
2) Why on Earth would jnd post that he's upset with Clive screwing up?! Do any of you actually think he hit the 'Submit' button and then thought "Oh crap, I probably shouldn't have told them I was scum.."? This is partly (mainly even) a WIFOM argument, but my intuition tells me that if jdn was scum he would have worded that post more carefully. He's looking more like a reluctant townie to me.

However, I'm not asking anyone to unvote him. I think ML brought up a good point when he quoted this post by jnd:

I agree that this looks like scum trying to save his Naive Leader from a lynch. I don't think it's as good as a case as I presented on Iliad though, so my vote is staying with Iliad.

A link to your posts in those threads would be appreciated, so I won't have to browse through 50 pages to find them.

Then kalish looks up Clive's fake claim and it works against him. Clive gets more votes until he is lynched. JND is one of the last to vote Clive. Here is what he says when he votes him:

I know for sure that ga7 and Sierra get it (the entire case I put together as a whole). However, JND himself and firth for some reason seem to only address the 3rd quote. What about the first two? is it because you decided to only defend against the weakest part of the case?

JND, I don't expect you to claim, but you could come up with something to help the town or give us something to explain why you seemed to defend Clive more than once.

By the by, Chu, just because i sont want to claim doesnt mean Im scum. Im not claiming because its not grounds for a claim. If I feel that you guys have presented a good case against me I will. But right now it is a speculation. My post show dissapointment, but Im not that stupid to be scum and do that....

Ack! I've been busy as hell, and will remain so for a bit. I'll do what I can to stay active (I'll be better this week, last week was crap), but I can't really make promises. Replace me if you feel the need.

As far as the current situation goes, all these leads seem rather week, but Illy seemed mildly scummy to me in a few of his responses.

Technically I didn't really say you defended him, jnd. It just appears that way. This is Day 2, so there's not much to work with. I presented a case and a couple players have agreed with it, so it must be worth something.

Wow Illiad and JND both look VERY SCUMMY right now. JND your post does reek of being frustrated over stupidity done by a member of your group like I was in NV5 while Illy you definitely tried to shift the attention of the bandwagon off of Clive. I personally wouldn't be surprised if both of them turn out to be non pro town roles. I'll wait for a vote count before casting my vote because at this point I would definitely vote for either of them.

That unvote looks pretty scummy in light of what Clive turned out to be especially being that a lot of people at that time were going for Clive while you had yours on Mili then.

We went for mil first, mil claimed r2d2, a couple of people unvoted, I went to bed, the bandwagon switched to clive, by the time I woke up clive was already lynched.

Where did I shift attention from clive?
