Good question, I'd like to see how the league playoffs play out and whether the CLA Leap Frog ladder happens first. Both THOTA and TOFU have not really lost (IMO). If it happens via either of those 2 avenues I'd be happy, if not then maybe late 2011 it'll happen. There should be no real rush to get this done.

Because TOFU won more games (even accounting for a 1 game penalty, what most people thought should be the maxim penalty), everyone would have viewed the winner of a war between you and TOFU as the real winner of the Conquers Cup. I understand why you didn't as you want the actual title, and I don't blame you fort it I'm just saying i would have wanted something different. Yes you give them the "title" of the Conquers Cup but no one would view them as the winners, everyone would view who won TOFU vs THOTA as the actual winners.

I didn't make the rules and we would of played whomever, it didn't matter to us, but, I am not just going to give someone the CUP for free, whether cc clans see it as you or not, we have honor and not going to go out that way. Hold on a second here. While I can see why you personally would have enjoyed seeing us basically spurn the cup and play Tofu, you wouldn't have had to deal with any of the various negatives associated with such. As a spectator, I don't think that implying that somehow we didn't do the right thing is a very persuasive argument, regardless of how many qualifiers you couched it in. So you somehow taking offense is pretty rich.

Let's not forget that THOTA did absolutely nothing wrong, and that we didn't have a dog in the fight when it came to the other semifinal, nor did we have an iota of control over our opponent in the finals. We signed up for the cup over a year ago, we progressed, and we'll keep playing until it's over. Empty ceremonial gestures are all well and good for the spectators, but it's a bit different when you're the one making the gesture.

Incandenza i respect your opinion a lot, and understand why you want to play KORT, it is for the official CUP title. Its not about who I want to see play who, its about my desire to see what should truly be the finals match-up. Also there aren't any negatives for playing TOFU instead of KORT, in my opinion. Well, it didn't really matter what we wanted, Kort was going to do what they were going to do and certainly didn't consult us. Would we have preferred that their semi with Tofu proceeded without all the drama and rule crap? Of course. But just because Kort made an insanely unpopular decision, that was no reason for us to basically bail on the cup, let them be champions by default, and play Tofu, all to make some kind of larger point (or worse, purely for the entertainment value). Whatever you may think about Kort's decision, they were within their rights to demand the full forfeit by the rules, thus within the context of the cup there's no real illegitimacy to their presence in the finals. In the eyes of the CC clan community, it's a different story, of course.

And don't get me wrong, I'd love to play Tofu. But we have a previous commitment that we have to finish up first.
