First of all the 007 movies are a saga not a trilogy. A trilogy is a set of three movies thus why it begins with tri as in triangle or triathlete. Second, while there are a few gems mixed in, Bonds has a history of making movies that are simply good for the action but nothing else. I would say that the original qualifies as a four or maybe even 5 (yes that's right 5!) star movie.
