on the basis that there may be a jester in the gameDoomYoshi wrote:No. unvote
this in my opinion says nothing either way if the truth, no faction wants the jester to win but the jester.DoomYoshi wrote:...and your opinion on the whole 40k thing is...lalaland wrote:...and your opinion on the whole 40k thing is...DoomYoshi wrote:No. unvote
I think he might be a jester, so I will not vote for him. I think he may have slipped up but obviously need a specific claim to be sure what to do.
he ends the day dismissing naxus' question about kenny's role, but does not contribute to the pressure despite there only being a day left.DoomYoshi wrote:Two people yearning for a no lynch, I can't say I disagree much with that. Hopefully there is an exciting night of investigations or else we are screwed for tomorrow.
The overall gist of his post was only to establish the main character's and by extension his own role as a solid town claim.DoomYoshi wrote:The thing about the roleclaims is that we know who Butters is and who Kenny are but not what their powers are. Tal and chap can still have fun roleplaying but not actually claim. Presumably, the mafia would know who town are anyways so it's not like a lot of information is gained. With SO many episodes to choose from, we have no idea what roles are doing what. I could imagine Kenny as Jester, lynchee, Bulletproof, someone who always comes back from the dead, someone who is really good at videogames, whatever.
The point is that I can't imagine the basic 4 as not town. naxus, you have messed up. I want to see a vote count before I vote, but I think you are probably close to claim time.
or by making us suspect his enemiesDoomYoshi wrote:I don't necessarily think that Cartman is the villain in the game. It is possible, as he is often villainous; but look at all the proper things he does. For instance, defending the world against the evil GIngervitis![]()
in fact, the only effort he seems to put forward is against the one that was specifically hinting to be against his characterDoomYoshi wrote:If you are not Cartman, why did you receive it? I also received it and was wondering why. It does seem clear that Chef is some kind of anti-town role.
DoomYoshi wrote:
Also, we should aim to try and find chef today so, ideally, it won't be testable.
Since Naxus also questioned the validity of one of the boys, this could be an additional motive to view him as a threat besides his role.DoomYoshi wrote:Ok. I am Cartman, investigate me if you want. I am not using my own logic right now as we are out of cases, and I am in general agreement that pressuring inactives isn't that bad. I want to find Chef, as I think he is even fatter than Cartman, and is therefore obviously scum![]()
Commander, you seem bent on proving that Chef isn't scum. Are you chef?
DoomYoshi wrote:Since you don't have a vote, and I'm not using mine, I can let you borrow mine for a bit.safariguy5 wrote:In lieu of a better case, you know I try to get the inactives active again. The godfather strategy (at least mine): try to associate with a person or persons and defend them any chance you get. If you get killed, they go down with you hopefully, and the warm fuzzy feeling you give them will make you unlikely to be voted by them.
So, evilchaos, he thinks you are fine. Just smile sweetly and play along
that's all I could gather, good enough for this case?DoomYoshi wrote:It is hardly the only case though. We could pressure either Chef or Cartman, either of whom could be scum.

You lying sack of cunt!
Agreed with most of what you said, although there's one thing that we don't know - his role. But generally, yes, if we're voting him, that means we have intentions to finish him, but due to his role, I am really not too against it.Talapus wrote:My money would be on Cartman as the most likely to sell town down the river should he get a chance. I have no problem for voting for Doom at this point. However, I doubt pressuring him will do us any good as we are all pretty sure he is Cartman. It's no like he's going to tell us his role if he is scum.
One more thought just occurred to me, but it isn't exactly soup by definition.DoomYoshi wrote:Ok, a quick google of South Park Soup reveals 2 possibilities: Mr. Twig Soup and Stan's SARS cure. Neither of those stand out to me. Can you propose someone else is making soup, or are you calling saf a liar?
The terrible soup is still tormenting my GI tract.DoomYoshi wrote:I apologize for trying to establish my character as town. Next time, I will try to convince you I am mafia. Also, Chef tryed to convince people that he is town... why is that not a case? This is discrimination of the finest form. I can't help the way I'm made. I was born Cartman, and there is nothing I can do about it. You wouldn't lynch someone with Down Syndrome would you? Why choose to lynch me?

Mainly because Chef is usually one of the more moral characters and Cartman (as several people have said before) is a duplicitous ass. Yes, between two possible cases, the flavor spec can be the deciding factor.

Is it just the most votes or does there have to be a majority?blakebowling wrote:Deadline is Friday June 10th(This Friday)
The person with the most votes at that point will be lynched (or no lynch if it has the most votes). If there is a tie it will be a random choice of who is lynched. If no one has any votes it will again be a random choice of who is lynched.
I've also prodded you all, anyone who doesn't post in this thread by the deadline will be replaced.
Sounds believable for cartman.DoomYoshi wrote:Ok, I am the town bomb. You can hit me if you want.
Lol I realize now that I never even voted in the first place even though it was my intention.kratos644 wrote:Sounds believable for cartman.DoomYoshi wrote:Ok, I am the town bomb. You can hit me if you want.

And I know you're Cartman - I meant roleclaim.evilchaos wrote:Yoshi, it might be time to claim. You aren't L-1, but you're the one up for a lynch at the moment.
