Shawshank was indeed a good movie, which is a rarity when they make movies based off of a book. Like Eragon, another travesty of a movie adapted from a good book series. LOTR was good, and so far the Chronicles of Narnia have been good as well. For the Harry Potter movies, I feel indifferent towards. Some were good, but now it is hard to take a movie seriously when a 20 year old is supposed to be portraying a 16-17 year old.

In the grand scheme of things that is not a big stretch.

Well, by the time the next one comes out, it will be a 25 year old playing a 17 year old. They somewhat pulled it off in Grease, but that was the youngest, John Travolta. All the rest were older and you could tell they were.

Agree on LOTR, have not read the Eragon books, only saw the first Chronicles or Narnia movie and thought it was decent. Harry Potter the movies have yet to live up to the books.

Also, Cedar point has 3 coasters with over a 200 foot drop. Millenium Force, Magnum XL 200 which was the first coaster to break the 200 foot mark and Top Thrill Dragster which is over 400 feet.

bout similar in length top speed 95. duration a little shorter but not very noticeable. 80 degree vert. max drop I believe is 260. So yeah your coasters beat it.

I am now at that point trying to find any other series that are similar to it, but am having crappy luck. So I'm thinking about just re-watching the series.

Ok so I have officially seen the new Harry Potter movie and i am...

Not overly impressed.

It was a decent movie but could have definitely benefitted from proper editting. Too much non-essential scenes not enough of the action and plot that occured in the book. overall superior to most of the movies but well inferior to the 5th movie. My biggest problem was how they cut the end fight so short. It was much grander and better in the book.

I was hoping to see that movie soon.
