Fircoal hasn't posted for a couple of days now so I have to carry on the legacy of spam lol.

I still have to catch up too, but man did that MM thing pissed me off. MM, if you read this, I understand you didn't have the time to claim etc, but if you can't play for your side as a whole and not only you, you might as well not play.

And in the meantime, we lost a deputy (is that a cop or a cop waiting to be activated by the death of the real cop?) and a roleblocker... We need to get our act together, people! Tomorrow, I guess.

deputy varies from game to game, but as I recall it's a role that gets investigations on alternate nights, and when the cop dies, assumes full cop powers.

A deputy is usually secondary to a cop role and only unlocked when a cop dies. That said, having never played under Nag, it's hard to say since he listed him as a deputy and not as an unlocked role, leading me to believe the deputy had usable cop powers now. Did he throw off hints as to whom he investigated?

Nope. he lead the lynch on the princess.

I was going to say that he seemed to know something about the princess, given his comment on her special powers, but Exile is right that he was actively involved in her lynch, suggesting he didn't know that much after all.

Other than that, I can't remember any clues suggesting special knowledge.

Since we presumably still have a cop, I doubt his role was unlocked already. Could have been helpful the way things are going though

In an attempt to make something of this day...

It says Donkey Kong (roleblocker) and Mario were found close to each other, both badly beaten. DK dead and Mario unconscious as a result of failing his night mission.

Would it be too wild a guess to assume that Mario was roleblocked by Donkey Kong, and that Donkey Kong died for it?

Either that or DK roleblocked whoever was trying to kill Mario, depending on how you interpret it.

And as to Fircoal, he's in the process of missing a turn in our game as well.

Well I'm going to point a finger at Gimpy-Wicked, for dropping the hammer on MM without waiting for the roleclaim. Now I know this is a tough thing to blame on Wicked, except that it IS her role that did that. And yes, I know, the rest of us didn't get a roleclaim either, but Gimpy knew we were down to -1, and someone (forgot who) said we should wait, and he jumped right in... well anyway, that's my two cents.

The someone was LSU. He gave MM four hours to claim, if I recall correctly.

You know what, I went back and re-read, and reviewed the timestamps, and I have to retract what I said about Gimpy. Nag gave us a 5 and 3/4 hour deadline, and after 4 hours, Gimpy voted, saying he'd rather have a lynch then no lynch. So I retract it. Sorry all. (glad I didn't vote!)

I'd FOS myself! Were I messed up like MM or maybe the youngun' Jake. Shoulda caught that... But anyway, caught it myself, so no harm done, hopefully.

I'm the first to say Gimpy made some dumb moves. He doesn't appear to be the smartest player. Don't blame it on the role, blame it on the playa!

FYI: I won't be online much today, but given the inability to vote, I don't think it really matters that much.

This 24 hours of nothingness kinda sucks...

We could turn this into a wake, break out the Labatt Blue, and tell stories about what a party girl the late Princess was...

I think she hung out with the wrong crowd in the last days of her life...

Hmm I still have some things left to read but in any case I want to tell the vig (we should have one left i hope ) that since we don't have a lynch and are getting in deeper shit every night it might be a good time to take a shot. Of course, if you already did in the previous nights, don't take this advice in account
