"Conventionally attractive" is what is considered "sexy" or "beautiful" in the mainstream view, ie. conforming to cultural beauty ideals: men are expected to be tall, handsome, rugged, muscular and conventionally masculine, while women are expected to be thin, large-breasted, symmetrical, have perfect skin, be conventionally feminine, etc.

It's not necessarily even based on any majority view of what most people consider sexy or beautiful, it's rather a cultural ideal that keeps getting perpetuated by media and fashion industry, which makes the whole thing make even less sense - it's like, one of those things that everyone just takes for granted, like everyone thinks "that's what everyone thinks" while most people don't really even think that way...
