Hmm I just had an idea. Instead of lynching Cena why don't we lynch XG and see if it's really a cult instead of masons? That way, we don't please any god, but they can't complain about it. Obviously they're all lying, but since only GT's followers have been identified, that way we'll know if all of the religious freaks need to be lynched.

Ga7, first you start a bandwagon on Nes, and now on me. Maybe my gut feeling that you are scum was correct, but that is too premature.

Even before Cena recruited me, my diety was G_T, so Cena recruiting me didn't change my alliance whatsoever. So in essence it is a mason group, but exile never truely made it clear to me if I joined a mason or cult group, and I do not know if the answer I recieved can be disclosed [say if so exile].

I was under the illusion that EVERYONE followed a diety, I guess that is not true...

I don't exactly agree with lynching XG, even after he thinks we're all under the watchful protection of a "god". I'll just wait and see how everything plays out.

It seems this game differs from a normal mafia game. Probably some dieties are not bad, and others are, as I still have to defeat the scum to win.

Well, from what Ex told us and his first post scene, we must be wary of all groups so... I'm still doubtful that there really is 3 cults, but we can't be sure till we see one of them killed. Maybe we can wait till the night as I suppose if a concurrent believer has killing powers Cena and you are likely to be targeted, but that might not happen and we'd still be at square one

The armies of Amn being occupied in the south, near anarchy has broken out and the sects of Talos and Lathander have gone at each other hammer and tongs, while the city attempts to pacify both sides, and also be wary of Helmites, who wish neither side to get an advantage - preferably by destroying all who stand in their way.

It looks like Fircoal and Mandy are at each other's throats, and GT [Helm] is trying to kill both. So GT looks to be neutral in this game.

I know, but I was unsure. I was thinking all 3 were at each others throats, and there were 3 groups of people. Now there is a 4th group, nonbelievers. So it looks like Mandy and Fircoal are the scum, the GT squad is trying to stop them, and the townies are watching, gaping. However this is achieved through very limited knowledge, so it might not be true.

About the neutral part, it was established by ga7 that Helm was neutral according to wikipedia. My first bringing of that quote was stating that it makes helmites look like the bad guys, but I was unsure. The second bringing was a second look through, which confirms wiki's description that GT is neutral. But I remember Exile stating that they have their own motives this time.

Meh, after more interventions on later days it might be clear.

I don't doubt that mandy or fircoal would have me as their first target. GT doesn't know me well enough yet but the other two definitely have it in for me so I'll keep my vote.

Here's what I make out of all this:

Mandy, Tonka and Fir are the gods of the mafia, the cult and the town. Judging by their claims, I'm pretty sure Tonka is the cult god. The other two I'm still unsure of, but judging by his lying and his threathening words I would guess Mandy is the mafia god, making Fir the town god. They probably can't lay a finger on eachother, but they have some powers that they can use to influence our game. They can win by having their 'believers' win this game. Like I said, this is just guesswork, but until I hear a better theory I'll assume this is how it is.

I'm leaving my vote on cena. Not because of Mandy's no-smite guarantee (I'm not sure we can really trust his word on this), but because I see no good reason to keep Tonka's cult alive. Seeing cena's role would also give us some verification on our theories on the game mechanics.

so anyone who doesnt vote cena dies?that means mandy plans on killing people of his own?

Actually, I'm guessing that Tonka really isn't too much of a cult. When I first started the game, I was told that Tonka was the diety I was supposed to follow, and that was it. Last night, I was recruited by Cena, who just happened to follow the same "religion", so to speak, my alignment did not change at all. However, Mandy does appear to be the Mafia one, and all followers of Mandy must be punished.

However, I'm just blabbing. I would have assumed it would jump to night after Nes suicided, as I read on the Mafiascum wiki [wiki's are not the best source for info, I know that].

Problem, the only one closest to a lynch idea is Cena... and that was pretty much because of Mandy.
