I assume you put this to encourage players to take someone out like in terminator games. In some manner it will help to quicken the games but on the other hand we'll meet some ugly strategies in to stay alive.
Why not play terminator instead of standart?

Anytime you play a tourney where the points accumulate you risk players using ugly strategies. If you play terminator people might play for CC points rather than tourney points by going after the one with the most CC points.

**UPDATES**

1) Considering the critics regarding to World 2.0 map, I changed it to Africa and updated my first post accordingly.

2) The results of our first poll is copied also into my first post. I asked lackattack to remove it, so that I can start a new poll about the maximum number of turns, before the match is ended and rest of the points are shared equally by the players alive. Of course, you will finish the game, but from our League point of view the match will count as finished in such a case. Please post your ideas about that, so that I can formulate reasonable options for the poll.

3) You can still register the League until Sunday 11:00 a.m. GTM. I will take the TOP 250 list at that time and finalize the players list. The current list on my second post is indicative only. Some players on the main list are at the limit and may drop off according to their final points on Sunday. Substitutes will be taken into the League in such a case. So, continue to register

Poll deleted and tourney privs granted.

Hey Selin. Sorry, I missed the chance to sign up for this! I was badly sick all week and not paying attention to much. I see there are already three alternates, but you could put me in there anyway, if you want! You never know what'll come up!

You should join only the matches in your group. I created the first 5 matches.
In your case, you are in Group A. So, you should enter 238696, 698, 699, 700 and 702.

The groups won't change until you finish 10 matches (10 maps) in your group. The first three players will be eligible for the next round.

As we have already used one of our two substitutes, I will accept registrations of new substitutes fulfilling the criteria in my first poll. There won't be a deadline for registration closing for substitutes.

fakoman & DimnjacarStef sent me a message that they have no premium accounts and therefore can't enter more than 4 games at the same time.

I should have had premium account as prerequisite, but honestly said, i didn't think about that.

I wonder, if there are other non-premium players having the same problem with open slots. If we can see the whole picture, we can think about possible solutions.

I checked all players and it seems that only fakoman and DimnjacarStef have no premium accounts. In the tournament we will have 10 matches in the first round. I don't think that those will be less than 30-40 rounds, that means it will take many months for them to finish all the matches. Another disadvantage will be that they won't be able to play other games/tournaments too.

Practically we have two solutions:

1) They can buy a premium account and continue to play the League
2) I can replace them with substitutes. The two matches we entered in Group C will be removed from the League, but we will continue and finish them like a normal game.

I sent them a message and asked to tell me as soon as possible which option they want to choose. If they choose option b, ZawBanjito and egatlas will replace them in Group C. I will reopen the first five Group C matches.

Sorry for the inconvenience fakoman and DimnjacarStef. It was my mistake not thinking this in advance, but I have no more options now. There are 22 other players and the League must continue.

I took DimnjacarStef also out from the League, otherwise it will take us too long to finish the League.

egatlas will replace him.

The Group C matches will restart.

1) Please continue to play the two games already started (with fakoman and DimnjacarStef). They will not be a part of the League, but a normal CC game.

2) fakoman & DimnjacarStef were replaced by ZawBanjito & egatlas.

2) Evil Semp and poguemahone, please drop the other three games you entered.

3) All Group C players, please enter the new matches created. Player and match lists on page 1 are actualized accordingly.

As you can see 13 voted for <=40 and 13 voted for >=50.

I decided to take the average of them, i.e. if a match is not finished after 45 rounds, rest of the points will be shared equally between the players still alive.

Example 1:
turn 45 and 3 players left
points to be shared= 10+6+2= 18
18/3=6 points for each of those players

Example 2:
turn 45 and 4 players left
points to be shared= 10+6+2+0= 18
18/4= 4,5 points >>> 4 points for each of those players
