Devil's Brigade, I can't say enough good things about you alll...that was the most intense well played set of games that I've ever been a part of...any game we had a lead on you fought back and made us work for and every game seemed to be just a constant struggle. I'm not sure we've had a worse winning percentage against a player than we did vic in this one...but luckily he wasn't available to play every single game.
We had a hell of a time with this one...we wish you nothing but the best in your wars to come.

Well played chaps. You thoroughly deserved the win. I'd a very bad showing in the early stages against you so I reckoned we'd see something like the final result as it turned out. I've still a couple of games on and both are much better fare for TDB, so I'm still enjoying the challenge. I look forward to the next time we meet. Next time, I'll bring my bolt gun from game 1 ;o)

i'm all for this, i like games like that. i keep a few going all the time.

like world 2.1, or hive, or a big map is my favorite, but i like medium ones too.

I'm up for Hive, Waterloo, Austria Hungary (beta), Napoleon 1812, Fractured China (beta), First Nations Americas. I don't particularly like World 2.1.

Nice mix in the above choices between sheer bonus grabbing, multiple victory conditions, bombard vs. plain assault, etc. Fun stuff.

How would we choose teams? Line up by the dugout and watch the jocks go over the nerds till the scrawniest is the last one unpicked?

that fractured china looks good, so does the austria hungary. i don't mind really, not crazy about the first nations. i just can never get a good start there.

we could pair up high score low score, or aphabetical order.


there is several ways to randomly do that, we could do # of forum posts. that shoudn't be a problem.

Count me in as well. Any board, any spot. Great idea by the way. It feels all empty and weird now not checking gunn's war board to see what's changed with his plus and minus signs next to the DB challenge. Not that I was doing it excessively...never over 7 times a day,
I loved the first dune book, was into the 2nd and 3rd, but whichever one was the God Emperor got a little out there for me. Felt like it was trying to be something it wasn't. But it's also possible I just didn't get it.
On the games front...if you send me an invite vic i will certainly join it any board any partner. Thanks again for the great challenge.
