That's a terrible horrible no good very bad idea.

What if you're playing with team mates? What if you only have a few minutes so you take a quick turn and leave a complicated one for later? What if you're losing a game (or "loosing" one as I've heard some people are apt to do) and the thought of it makes you sad so you skip it until the last possible minute?

I don't understand how people make these faux-reasonable suggestions with zero thought about the practical implications of the implementation.

Firstly, rhp 1, I find your abuse of the ellipsis offensive.

Secondly:

He was *already* at the top of the scoreboard. He'd been conqueror for quite some time.

First... dont care what offends you in the least

Second... ty. I wasnt aware that he was already at the top before he spiked his score... the leader board is a complete joke anyhow so who's at the top of it and when is really not relevant, if I can go the top of the leader board if I chose to, enough said on how legitimate top score is... I also pointed out that I assumed he was a top player.... My apolgies... goes to show how intensely I follow this crap... I just enjoy the back and forth

and..... this..... is..... just..... for.... you......................................

Enjoy your day

Or how about people just play their turns. Or quit abusing loop holes sometimes you don't even want to look nor play a loosing game, but when you are doing in to only manipulate the score board then there, should be a issue.
I've never loosed a game in my life. I keep them all strictly constrained.

*Edit* because I know how much the other word would hurt your e-feelings. can't have that can we?

I did not think of that. I play very few team games. Good point, and point taken.

looks like the monthly scoreboard has just turned into some shit fight for who can start the most games and keep the most losing games active at once (within the rules.) can i put forward that the monthly scoreboard be scrapped.

On scrapping this we could have a new one for speed games. this would be most points won over the month i am asking this because the monthly scoreboard has increased the amount of available games throughout all time regions at any one time, i find it a rare occasion nowadays for there to be no games available, games you set up are joined in a timely manner instead of up to 1 hour. this new manipulation is going to affect all us speed players. because those who started to play speed for the scoreboard are just going to stop. and there is no way to manipulate your points legally in speed games.

as for this whole thing admin have just introduced a way people can point dump and get away with it legally. they can dump to one or many players they choose and them players will get off with it scot free. plz tell me how someone can lose 3000 points in 2 or 3 days and not be classed as point dumping. honestly delaying losing games to the extent that has been witnessed and the known point drop by these players cannot honestly be seen as correct.

Everything eddy said. It definitely shouldn't be legal. I feel that when it gets to the point of what Josko and I did it should be considered gross abuse of the game and the person should be punished.

How is this construed as "gross abuse of the game"? People started X amount of games, took turns in those games without hostage taking and won games to enhance their score. There is nothing wrong with this practice; why is this difficult to understand? People have 24 hours to take a turn; that simple. How they manage their games in the 24hr period is their business so as long as no RULES are broken in the process. Who wants to take turns every 5 minutes to manage the plethora of games in order to inflate a score? I sure as hell don't and I'm pretty sure others don't as well.

Well codeblue1018 i could not agree more. I have always wanted to try and be conqueror, but i will not resort to this action to get there. I will continue to play what i want, when i want it. If i get there great, if not no big deal. If i can get to top i want to be there the way i always have played, not this little loophole way. I do agree there is nothing against the rules here, and i feel if a player wants to do this, they have every right.

It's not aposiopesis if there's no implicit thought. Putting an ellipsis on the end of a sentence which is complete isn't aposiopesis, it's just pointless redundancy in the application of punctuation, turning one period into three. It doesn't even have the dignity of being a pleonasm. Rather, it's just an annoying personal habit, the stylistic equivalent of picking one's nose at the dinner table.
