Wing pretty much explained the whole thing. It is unlikely that mitch is still lying after all this time and no counter claims. LSU is avoiding the conversation which suggests he had villager or something like that and is now unsure of what to say since pt is saying he's the new wolf. If LSU claims insomniac who was not changed that would be a smart lie.

if pt is lying about tanner being unassigned then tanner is out there but we don't want to shoot him anyway, so changing targets could be dangerous. pt would not claim all he claimed unless he knew for sure that LSU was not tanner.
