I find it hard to claim this early
for the critics lurk amongst us
taking the guise of a theme
hoping no one has it
I shall stay quiet
for you never know
who listens
to your
claim

I thought it obvious, I thought it clear,
but no worries, I have nothing to fear,
The verse I type is quatrain, see,
it's who I am and who I be.

There it is for all to see,
now let's hear what you be.
Speak the truth and tell us all ,
before the night on us does fall....

It seems I must claim to save my skin
I am a poet of nonets
9 syllables goes the first,
then 8 shall proceed it,
count my syllables
they shall go down
by 1 count
each time
count!

If you have it harder than me,
Please step forward for me to see.
For French Rondeu is my poem form
It's difficult; makes me forlorn.
All these claims, the critics we''l see.

My rhyme and role I so decree
A poet must use poetry
Now claim, or suffer wicked's scorn
If you have it...

But one small problem I do see
Ah could wicked be fooling me?
She finds our styles and toots our horn
So she can easily act norm
Minor thing...but it bothered me
If you have it....

So now it is we shall be claiming?
Seems premature, but so be it.
Hopefully scum will be in for maiming.

I said medieval, that ain't no shit,
I speak terza rima, wikipedia knows.
It says Dante was a fan, quite a bit.

Thus my writing has reached new lows
This Italian scheme is horribly tight
and Aimless and I may come to blows.

I hope this course of wicked's is right
Overzealous has oft been her play
But anything rather than 70 pages till night. :D

When we've claimed, I hope we find our way
Else scum shall be hunters, and we the prey.

And still there are those from which we wait to hear
seven of you still need to give a style
or face the votes of all your fellow peers.
Da Dum Da Dum no Swoosh for you dear Aim.

Its Rondelet
That is what my style is, its hard.
It's Rondelet
I must rhyme, even when I suck. It
is hard to do. It makes me marred. :?
There are A rhymes and B rhymes. HARD!
It's Rondelet
Vote: Mandy

There once was a man called Sam,
He used to live in Japan.
He picked up a spanner,
then a hammer.
And when to live in Taiwan.

(Sorry I will just keep posting random limericks!) :D

It is called Haiku,
each seventeen syllables...

My poetic form is new to me here,
Writing heroic couplets, so not clear.
Iambic pentameter, my given verse,
Looking at Fircoal, though, it could be worse.

The thing about my style of blank verse is
the most common form used is also known as
meter of iambic pentameter,
so that makes me wish to place my vote today
on ex, on ex, I'd like to vote exile!
Feel free to check wikipedia
as these are the facts as shown by them also.

not knowing enough about poetry,
I see there can be differing styles
of style of iambic pentameter
some rhyming, some not as I can tell.
This is boggling at best for non-poets
so help me here those who know poems so well
could there be both styles of exile's and mine?

:?

Wait just a min. What is this, eh?
Why did you change to two lines, meh?
This: something I don't understand....
Can we break style? Style break we can?
O what has wicked done here heh?

All her poems had 7 lines, yeh?
But she just posted in two, feh.
Can we change? Is that the mod's(aimless) plan?
Wait just a min.

I hope that it is allowed keh.
Would make my life easier teh.
Tonight we may find ourselves canned.
But look at this lead I found man.
The chocobos like to go kweh
Wait just a min.....

I still again think Wicked scum
She certainly has changed her rules
I don't believe we should ask her mum
her writing style will make us fools

As for my own, I speak a sonnet
An English one to be precise
Much like Shakespeare or a man in a bonnet
I hope my answer will thus suffice

I believe that Aimless is getting off
Watching us in this crazy game
I hope my rhymes do not grow soft
Or else this will be pretty lame

And now you know
Let's hope you show.

Blank verse is rhythm, be two lines or ten
can be iambic, the most popular
or more or less, or ever how I choose.
Go yonder to the wiki page and there
shall you find, truth is how I speak of it.
Artsy I am not, and for that sorry,
my style may not be clearest, but I try!

The once was a woman called Mary.
Her legs were very hairy.
She went to New York
Got hit by a champagne cork.
She said it was very scary.

Wicked my dear, are you out of your mind?
Voting me for me! It seems so unkind. :(
I know that your structure may be Blank Verse,
Just 'cos I differ does not make me worse!
Please I implore you, read up and research,
Heroic couplets that I write in church!

reaction first, later comes thought
iambs of five many styles have
so second thought makes me go pause
until such time that others speak
if two iamb pentameters
may we have in this game of Aim's?

Wow, I am very confuzed right now
Wicked and exile both odd
but I believe both of them
for their themes are correct.
Someone is hiding
someone faking
they are good
under the
radar

I say again I say it true
Wicked still seems to be scum
However now that I've voted you
Mandy seems to ooze some slum

His rhymes are every other line
And he has no ABAB Style
It's just his second and fourth line
that matter to him this while

So while I still call Wicked out
And wish I could lick her
Mandy I scream with a shout
I FOS you, cur!!!!

Yes I said lick Wicked too
That is what I'd like to do.
