Jones, the term "redskin" came about because, to 15th and 16th century europeans, they had a reddish-brown skin tone (telling you the obvious, I know. Sorry). And forget the PCBS, tell the PCP to shut their trap.

Well, even more convoluted is the fact that there were many types of Apache. I am Lipan Apache, but there are other variations.

And in some cases, those "same tribes" have historically "got along" about as well as the Scots and English did in the pre-Stewart days.

In some ways, the conquest of Amercia reminds me of the Roman conquest of Britain, or the norman one of Wales: in many cases the locals regarded the newcomer as just another tribe, one more option when allying against enemies. The newcomers saw all the locals as just locals, and exploited the tensions amongst them to further their own purposes.

I didn't mean to offend, sorry. That animal thing was joke though. What I was trying to say is that there might of been an earlier settlement of people living the USA, and that your and other Native American ancestors wiped them out.

No, it doesn't. But, we are not the only invaders in the history of the earth. Europeans took their lands, their country. That was not right, and it will never ever be right to invades someone's land. To resent us, yes.

But to say we are invaders, the only invaders. Gets me cheesed off. We don't know what happened thousands of years ago on the continent of North and South America. But there was probably a few invasions of the same kind, but not devastation, that Europeans did to the native tribes.

Europeans are horrible people, I must admit. I have to admit that. There is no compromise with that fact. I have never met a native American face-to-face, so I don't know how much pain and resentment they show towards Europeans. I wasn't trying to be prejudice, because I have no idea about North American history, specifically USA, other than the Revolution and when Europeans came.

First of all hidden, to help avoid confusion, maybe put the quote first and then your response to it, yes? Second of all, people have been killing each other off for each other's lands. The Natives (I REALLY don't want to list all the tribes) were doing it to each other in both North and South America LONG before the "evil white devil came." In actuality, the natives here are still alive, not many other conquered people can say that (though I mean no offense by "conquered people"). And weren't some of your ancestors enemies? You may not be around if not for integration.

Please show where the Mohicans are. I'd like to meet one.
