Hinting at what your role is, but not claiming, is wrong. It gives people the idea that you claimed, but without giving anyone a chance to counter-claim or verify your role with their night-actions.

Drake, you've already made yourself a target for the mafia by exposing you're a powerrole. You're not doing the town any favours by not claiming; the only use it could have is trying to keep multiple options for fakeclaiming open if you're scum. There might some exceptions to this rule, such as a bomb, but there are very few (bomb is the only one I can think of at the moment). If you happen to have one of those roles, that's though luck, but you should still claim.

I will revile my role later in the game when we're coming to lynch or lose, most mafia/werewolfs are already dead or if someone claims my role

I can see why you were hesitant to claim, as it's kinda like being a bomb: you're hoping the mafia - or wolves in your case - will target you. Still it's good that you did, for all the reasons I mentioned earlier.

The more likely possibility is that he's a werewolf. He's safe from werewolf kills that way anyway, so the wolfsbane claim works fine. And having doc protection guarentees him a safe night each night.

But, he could always be telling the truth. I say we leave him up to our seer tonight.

Drake is indeed not a confirmed townie like he claims. I must admit I've never played a game with both wolves and mafia groups. Is it common to have a wolfsbane role in such games? If it is and there is no counter-claim, he's still likely a townie and thus doesn't deserve your vote. And I think you misread drake's post. He asked for doc protection, not a doc claim.

Drake & everyone else: please never ever try to direct a doc, vig, cop, or any other power role. It's safe to assume the people playing those roles have a mind of their own and can come to these conclusions themselves. Trying to manipulate their actions is something scum would tend to do and I consider it a scumtell.

I think someone else has mentioned that wolfsbane is an easy claim to fake when you're a werewolf, so you're not in the clear yet, drakey-boy.

ani has been hopping around alot, but tbh i think he's just been going with the crowd, which is a little scummy but esentially a null-tell :/

on the other hand, it's all we've got to go on atm. i'll wait for more evidence before voting.
