I think Japan is a very awkward shape to make into a map... It is an areas that has had multiple attempts at being made into a map, and all of them have ended up failing, primarily because of this.

As far as future competitions go, let's hold onto our goats for a little while yet ;-)

Agreed, I think ideas is a bigger problem at the moment...
