an ADDITIONAL e-ticket... the first did not work, obviously... again, good luck on this quest...-0Big Whiskey wrote:owen, after I read through all of this,I said yes to have them both reinstated. And to answer owen's question, yes they filed a e-ticket.It says that in the thread in C&A.I hope everything works out for you both.

It's not a (poll), it's a petition. Good luck sorting this thing out guys.owenshooter wrote:p.s.-just refuse to vote yes in a ridiculous poll that only gives yes options...
I never criticised your petition, I just saide_i_pi wrote:Learn what a petition is before you criticise one
I congratulate you on your clever use of taking something that the site offers [a poll] to attempt to use it for something else [a petition]. However if you are going to start a thread you have to try your best to anticipate whether people are going to get the point. As Serbia mentions, people are ignorant.GenuineEarlGrey wrote:Not sure how you can call this a poll when the only options are to vote yes and yes*.
*Apologies if someone has already posted on this.
You are using a petition in a small population. Currently you have had 89 votes from an unknown number of people from 456 views. The petition is are unlikely to gain large numbers to attain a moral force.wikipedia wrote:The petitions had no legal effect, but the signatures of millions of people on the petitions represented a moral force....
unfortunately, no such protocol has ever been promulgated...-If the correct protocal wasn't followed before both used the same IP, the site admins reserve the right to take corrective action.
Exactly. This is the problem I see. Where does it stop? If you log from the same IP, where is the cutoff point? I have babysat for about 4-5 other accounts, and am the dedicated babysitter for 2 accounts whenever their user is away on holiday. On occassion I am in team games with those people. What is the option? Give their password to a third party? That hardly seems the right thing to do, it is a betrayal of trust. Play the games? Apparently that leads to a bust.scottp wrote:unfortunately, no such protocol has ever been promulgated...-If the correct protocal wasn't followed before both used the same IP, the site admins reserve the right to take corrective action.
the rules are seemingly made up as we go along, and that's what's irritating to the rest of us. we all have to wonder "am i next?!"
Sounds familiar.e_i_pi wrote:It all just sounds like inept people covering their arses after making a foolish mistake.

Olkok told us that olkok and smokespride have almost the same names for their email accounts. When you look through their games, there appears to be no pattern. I can't imagine the mods making a bust without good reason. What do they know that we don't? Then why should they tell us!
or we trust they looked into all of these options, made their determination that it was not these cases, and that illegal use of the account was made, and we have to trust that judgment, which is actually what a lot of others believe. That is why they dont have to tell us. To suggest they did this as a whim, is simply irresponsible. You actually know better, and are just ignoring that, on what has become your personal crusade. I do know full well they could be making a mistake. But I also know full well they looked into it deeply and didnt make the decision lightly....youve been here too long to not know that too, and now its obvious you just will say anything to try to prove your opinion correct.e_i_pi wrote:This is why:GenuineEarlGrey wrote:Sounds familiar.e_i_pi wrote:It all just sounds like inept people covering their arses after making a foolish mistake.![]()

It appears to many people that olkok has been busted for something that does not appear to be wrong. A rule has not been quoted that holds ground - saying 'multiple accounts' means jack shit. Two accounts bought under the same credit card could be for father and son (why would a minor have a credit card?), and two accounts logging from the same IP could be people playing from the same computer or people babysitting accounts. Because the staff have not given a reason, these are the only conclusions the community are able to come to.
So, to the community it looks like someone has been busted either for buying their kid an account, for babysitting, or for playing from the same IP (which could include public locations such as internet cafes or libraries). None of those things are against the rules. Yet now it appears that they could be. But there is no clarification on this. So essentially big brother wants us to live in fear of what could happen to our accounts at the whim of the staff.
That is why they should tell us.
eww, caving into criticism from the community?? ewww... thank god they didnt listen when the forum-tards wanted wicked back....olkok wrote:I want to send out a big thank you for all who have put in comments regarding this situation. I hope not...nor do I believe that's the case. It appears more like the case was reviewed, reversing the prior decision based on the evidencehwhrhett wrote:eww, caving into criticism from the community?
