I've been thinking about that. Have more spots with actual reindeer and santa etc. Go no bonuses, except +1 all over. I appreciate Circus Maximus and Nuclear would lend very well to that type of map. Also really thinking about going this direction as previously suggested...

Wcaclimbing's Winter. Here, the visuals give off that cold, snowy, theme. Your map may benefit from a similar kind of feeling, in addition to added thematic elements (that are very specifically North Pole related, like Santa, etc).

Now I have to add 4 more territs? Best solution to my 48 territ problem?
48 regions give you a bad number only in a 4 player game.
48 regions:
2/3 players --> 16 , 0 neutrals
4 players --> 12 , 0 neutrals
5 players --> 9 , 3 neutrals
6 players --> 8 , 0 neutrals
7 players --> 6 , 6 neutrals
8 players --> 6 , 0 neutrals
You could try to code some regions as starting neutrals or use starting positions... however,it depends on your gameplay, for example the santa zone and the elf zone are small, maybe you'll need some starting positions or starting neutrals to prevent an unfair drop.
Or maybe add 4 regions....as I suggested to you some time ago.(

vacation for a couple of months under mapmaker request
