The other possibility is to lower the point threshold to 1800 and call them Officer's Games... but that will probably dissuade the 2500+ peoples from joining them.
Dunno, maybe just the simple '2000 Club' is the best.

um i thought the point thershold for colonel under the old system was 1800 ???????
i can probably make that in a week but apparently now it is 2000.....gee i could probably make that too if i could play some higher ranked players where I could gain more than 66 points for winning a 7 player game.
problem is my rank is high enough that i dont get squat for slaughtering rookies but not high enough to play anyone that would stand to lose some real points according to this "club"
Im sure none of you wanted to play someone even one rank higher than you when you were privates ...probably all got to be colonels playing cadets and cooks for sure.
personally I try to find 1 decently ranked game and then play 3 games with lower ranks players that way they at least have the opportunity to move up...i even play the ?????
but i understand anyone whos only a sgt first class is obviously a hack with no honor......sad part is the other site I played risk on was the same way but there they called it "clan games" couldnt get in one unless you were in a clan couldnt get in a clan if you were ranked below 30 I would battle my way to 31 or 32 consistently under the name CLAN - DESTINED but only 1 time ever got in a top ten game

its really rather ridiculus i mean what if sgts refused to play corporals who refused to play privates who refused to play cadets who refused to play cooks who refused to play ???????
I made major I asked nicely i was declined so keep your game ill make conquerer 66 points at a time then Ill refuse to play anyone above a corporal lol

not to harp endlessly but..............I know i was a major for a week when i broke 1600 and im pretty sure that colonel under the old system was 1800 points (200 point spread)
the new system has a lietenant rank at 1800 so wouldnt that be the equivalent of what was a colonel ? I could be wrong it may have been 2000 which was it ?

CC2000 Games? or something like that
Platinum would probably be more appropriate for 2500 plus points I would think
then really, we could set up
CC1400 Games,
CC2500 Games etc, and no one would be confused.

I think CC2000 is fine. But my opinion doesn't mean much since I'm about to slip below 2000 again. I had a player kamikaze me in three games at the same time when he had about half my score. At least he won't be getting my points
I realize that we all started out in the same place, but I would really prefer to play games against people of similar rank or at least above 1000. Losing 80pts to someone in a chef hat really sucks.
If I can't win one first I'll drop off the board.
Maybe we need to start an Officers Club(tm) that I can be in if/when I drop to Lieutenant.

Master chief started the thread, and hes on vacation I believe, but Laz can change it for him...the whole idea in the beginning of this was that no one was in charge or anything, that everyone (colonel at the time) made the decisions...
if we get more support for the name, or some other suggestions, Im sure Laz will change it for us...
I do hope I can start playing in them again...luckilly i am still in ten or so that just havent ended...granted the lower my rank gets, the less likely it is I will win them..lol
