Since Xen said we could treat this as Twilight, I'd put my suspicions on strike wolf for dropping the hammer in a speed lynch. ML and Aimless both had some previous reasoning, and Ank was only the second vote (hardly OMG BANDWAGGONNER!!!1eleventyone1! material). Then again he could just be a bored townie who has no leads, like I was.

Well, I'll roleclaim and we'll see if the mafia kills me tonight...

I am a Vanilla Townie... My name is Carl Johnson, from the San Andreas GTA...

I thought it was odd that that was my name, and then I see exile had one too...

So, now the mafia can either let me live and we'll be that much closer, or they can kill me and the town will STILL be that much closer.

This is the 2nd day that's ended with me suspicious of Strike, especially with the quick hammer when we still had a few hours left. Aim, can you please consider investigating him tonight? b/c if I'm still alive tomorrow, I'm going after him... too many mistakes on his part.. so it'd be nice to know! I understand if you want to investigate someone else though.

I will second Wickeds claim... Tomorrow, if I'm dead, go after him... If I am alive, I think I will.

I'll make up my mind once I see the death scene.

There's a strong problem with this, though. Tomorrow will be LYLO. If I investigate strike and he's town, we could be in trouble, and frankly guiding the cop onto a suspicious looking townie is something I'd expect of mafia.

So, without making any assurances as to who I'm going to investigate, if my investigation comes up town tomorrow, I think we should no lynch. We'll have 6 tomorrow, and even numbers are bad for the town; and no lynch will leave us with 5 the following day. This, of course, is assuming that I survive the night, too.

What is LYLO?

I remember seeing pancake post a link for all these terms. Does someone have that?

Damn it!

Xen, if strike really wants out, I'd much rather he be replaced than removed. Can one of our dead townies replace? Or anyone else, for that matter?

I think that Xen would get a replacement whether you asked or not.

I just haven't gotten into this game really. I don't have as much time as I did for vendetta and the lack of enthusiasm in the general person posting here has really gotten me bored and it's starting to show in my actions.

That's true of anyone who comes up town Aim. Suspicious townie = possible scum. How is me wanting to investigate possible scum make me look scummy? :?

Well, here's the deal:

If you are town, wanting me to investigate someone who looks scum is perfectly natural. If you are scum, you presumably know that strike is town; but, because he looks scummy, you can use him to guide me away from real scum and still keep your townie cover, since the suggestion is a "natural" one for town to make.

And the really sad thing about this line of logic is that there's a voice in my head telling me that I'm not paranoid enough, and that you might be scum guiding me onto scum in the hopes of convincing me you're town and keeping me from ever investigating you.

Well I'd say investigate me to clear up your paranoia, but I know you know that, and I'll tell you now it'll be a waste. You've done a good job so far picking who to investigate, so I'll just shut up now.

If you can't take a game like this, where people don't just mindlessly spam, I think it is safe to say you should not play mafia here again.

You will not be invited to any games I run.

It has nothing to do with spam. I can understand serious attitudes but it just seems unnecessarily monotonous in here. I can't really explain well it's just a personal opinion.

It's just a game strike. And monotone posts are the order of survival in mafia. Accusations, insults and whining are also fun

I said it was just a game. I don't know I don't really have a good way of explaining it. It's one of those things that words don't really explain it no matter how you try to explain it.

Anyways, lets just move on and stop spamming the thread.

Actually the most uninteresting, unenthusiastic person posting here is YOU strike. The game is what you make of it.

There's plenty of unenthusiastic people on the thread. Most of them aren't talking.
