If he was scum I don't know why he'd have stepped up to defend me the way he did. If he was scum he brilliantly set up a ranger #2 claim atm. But setting something like that up that far in advance is super risky. Not to mention I was basically going to get lynched eventually if he didn't say anything.

I assume you're talking about Skoffin, dunno why you keep switching between he and she.

Anyway I suspect you might well be mafia along with Iliad and Skoffin so it's not much of a defense.

I was talking from my point of view not yours.

I switch between he and she because I use he as a default but if I remember that I'm talking about a girl I'll use she, so sometimes I don't actively remember that she's a she.

It's not much. A mafia ploy would probably have been more obvious - this one almost went unnoticed. And she didn't save your life - a few people had already unvoted by then.

Considering that post came after I mistakenly posted in the wrong thread, I thought it might be better to go find the other post(It was posted in the mass effect mafia game on page 10 if you wish to see for yourself):

My 'reason for believing him' was from my role PM which strongly suggested to me he would be telling the truth, I have not investigated him however.

I believe the order of investigations were lovo, Iliad and Phil. I got town on all, but I suppose I can't rule out a godfather.


All though it would be brilliant if Iliad, ET and myself were all scum, you guys having three scum all at once to choose from? Personally as all three of us are experienced players I don't think any of us would be dumb enough to get an entire mafia team worked into such a tangled web

Actually I did. When I said I would be back well before the deadline I *did* come back well before the deadline, however cena had not claimed by then. I even posted to say cena should hurry the hell up already, but eventually I had to leave and that's when he finally got around to it. I fully expected Cena to have claimed by the time I got back, it's not my fault that he didn't.

For me that is the final proof. I am almost certain skoffin and iliad are scum but I'll vote iliad first 'just in case'

As cop investigating people you feel to be scum is squandering your resources, its much better to investigate those you have no read on. In that light all 3 of his investigation targets make a lot of sense.

Iliads alignment and skoffins are not necessarily the same.
1 skoffins only gotten town results, he could be naive
2 Iliad could be a godfather
3 Skoffin could be scum bsing the claim and Iliad could still be town

I'm not entirely convinced with skoffin, but I'm getting there. In any case, I don't think we're getting any more information from her right now.

I'm fairly sure Ice is town. If he's not, there certainly aren't four scum. Hammering cena would be risky with three, but with four the game was won had he not. And by previous speculation, three scum would also mean no cop. (Speaking of which, that's another reason I'm not convinced about skoffin. As far as I can tell, there are only three cannibals in the movie.) The same applies to a lesser extent to Yorkie and myself. And Yorkie's claim is probably the weakest so far, which is another point in favour of "if not skoffin and iliad, who?"

@people who act scummy... The point is to maximize the information you have. By investigating lurkers and others who you cant get a read on you maximize what you know, if you investigate only people you have suspicion on then are limiting the info the town gains, as if they are active further posting by them will likely convince you one way or the other eventually.

Where in that post do I say I'm sure? One of the listed possibilities is that skoffin is scum and lying about being a cop.

Of course "cause I feel like it" isn't a reason or explanation, I just never gave one. I have reasons for feeling like it, but I really don't feel like explaining myself, hence the cop out.

I really don't know whether I should defend myself or not. And whether it will actually achieve anything

Well admittedly I'm not that experienced at mafia.. but in the 4 or 5 games I've played thats always how cops have acted, and how I'd act as a cop. As I thought was pretty clear from the context, I was referring to Iliad when I said "how can you be that sure someone's cop"- i.e say lynch me instead of Skoffin, unless you're in fact scum buddies.

Because I'm a townie and she's a cop. Who would rather lose?
