Speaking of the playoffs. For the 2nd round (and beyond), will the highest remaining seed always face the lowest remaining seed?spidey wrote:no, I think I got it right. It is more to determine who has home advantage in the playoffs.
Yes, that is how the actual NHL playoffs work, so I am assuming that is how spidey is going to do it. Higher seed gets home ice, and plays lowest remaining seed.Aerial Attack wrote:Speaking of the playoffs. Will the 1/8 winner face the 4/5 winner? Or if 8 won, would they move on to be the road team at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7?

Tampa Bay traveled to it's home arena only to lose to the host Edmonton Oilers. So, it's worse to have to face Edmonton. Also - I think other people are starting to get the hang of the map. So the advantage is not nearly as great (if at all) as it was in the beginning of the season.spidey wrote:that is correct, I will be doing the highest seed will always play the lowest seed with the highest seed getting the home ice advantage. Not a good thing if you are playing edmonton or tampa bay.
