@ kongming3

but it was at the beginning of D2 and then silence - so I still wonder what you were up to N2.

Very ballsy to go for homer instead of Son!c. Surely, scum must have anticipated that Son!c would protect homer. Did you not, Son!c? (I feel like you said as much, but I just want to be sure.)

Good morning, glad to be alive. RIP homer

I'm hoping Charle was bluffing about being single shot and we get another role reveal soon.

"Join the anti-corruption unit", they said. "It'll be fun", they said. (~_~メ)

I will continue my strategy to get players to participate. Pushing for the "silent" ones.

I'm still a bit conserned about Charle and "The Letter of the Law" claim. Charle is an experienced player as far as I know and it was suitable. Like a bisquit on a silver plate. but there is no counter claim.

So I've been battling a very bad sinus infection and I dont have the mental energy for a long post right now. Why would Kingm be shown the alignment of the role before seeing the actual role?

Hjelp, I only mean I hope Charle was downplaying the power of his role as Hastings and is able to serve more letters.

He is thankfully feeling better now has offered to return to the game taking on General Cod's role.
General Cod did post one in Day1 but didn't post at all Day2
Consequently General was not either replaced or modkilled previously - but any actions associated with his role were disallowed Night 2

I've told King what role and alignment he would be subbing in as and asked him to confirm in this forum if he is still ok to do this

If he does so/as soon as he does so - his subbing in for General Cod will take effect
He asked me on like Saturday if I could sub in if cod survived the night, I first said no sorry since I still was low on energy, but then on Sunday I woke up with tons of energy and sent him a new DM and I said I would love to sub in if I was needed.
LC replied to me like 30min before he posted that D3 started, and there he told me my role and that it would be official when I confirmed that I subbed.
So I had no idea at all of the alignment or the role before he told it to me and asked me to confirm in the this thread.

Hello all - I apologize for largely being absent day 2 for non-game related reasons, I will do my best to catch up and put some work in. I obviously recognize that there is now some added suspicion on me because of that which is fine and understandable, but I want to clarify that I am town and my actions and posts were benefitting town/appearing town-sided to multiple people before this. It would in no way benefit me if I was scum to suddenly stop posting and look scummy for no reason. If it was a tactical decision to lay low, I could have at least made a few cursory posts to appear involved - my absence was entirely unrelated to the game and not a lurker situation.

I did come back in time to perform a night action, which I think is fine to reveal now that we're nearing a stage with more cards on the table. If that can be externally validated I'm quite happy for that to be the case, but otherwise I would mention that my choice of target was based on the state of the game in the posts I saw from D2 end, and the desires of the key town figures in play.

I would also say that I did not receive any important or useful information as a result of my night action, but that could potentially change as more information is revealed or shared.

What do you mean, I don't see how your action could get us usefull information, or what you made you choose that persons on N2? who did you visit last night?

I'm sorry to hear, mate. I hope you're doing better. AC12 need everyone in good health. We're losing the fight against bent coppers.

So we are 11 left alive now, and only 4 townies that are killed so far.
From what I read in D2 everyone thinks its 3 or 4 scum, since that normal for a 15p game, but what do we think about a potential 3p?
Like there has only been 1 death both N1 and N2, so smells like the only scum that are here is mafia, but maybe there is an arsonist that is dousing us?

So lets be optimistic, and hope there only 3 scum, but 12 town 3 scum sound a bit OP for town, so 11 town 4 scum is probably more right.
So that would mean we are down to 7 town 4 scum now, and 6 to lynch, hmm yeah lets hope there is 2 different scum fractions if there is 4 scum, and it would have been nice with a D1 lynch now, then we could have tried to see if there was some voting patterns, now we have very little to go on using the votes from D1 and D2.

Ok, @traf, Sonic says he wished he protected homer, so to me that means he did not do that?
So from your line of questioning I guess you tracked kongming then?

So yeah I also wonder what kongming did last night.

It will help us to find a scum?, then why not sharing info now?

I appreciate everyone's lust for information because mostly people like to be in the know about stuff. However, as we have seen with Traf, it's not inherently good to get all information on the table in order to satisfy a basic human need. Information must be treated cleverly. If it is instrumental in bringing down scum, put it on the table. If it is instrumental in saving us from a mislynch, put in on the table. Otherwise, keep it to yourself as long as possible (and the more seasoned players will be able to put it on record without everyone realising it). The reason I'm saying this is a) the more info scum gets about night actions that don't necessarily catch them out, the easier it is for them to dance around town PRs and b) the more info scum gets, the sooner they can concuct a narrative that includes that information.

There's a reason AC12 don't disclose all the information at once. You give out one piece of evidence and see how the person questioned acts to that first. Exactly like Traf has done just now.

1. strike wolf
2. TrafalgarLaw01 TOWN (cleared by Homer)
3. ORIGINAL Devante TOWN ALIGNED - PAPER TRAIL - KILLED NIGHT 1
4. Ragian
5. Djfireside
6. Cofari VANILLA TOWN - MODKILLED DAY2
7. hjelp
8. homer_jay TOWN ALIGNED - INTEROGATOR - KILLED NIGHT 2
9. NEW DEVANTE TOWN (cleared by mod pm)
10. ORIGINAL Kingm VANILLA TOWN - LYNCHED DAY2
11. Charle TOWN (cleared by claim)
12. kongming3
13. SoN!c TOWN (cleared by Charle's letter)
14. NEW KINGM townish due to the mechanical mod clue
15. annieh

So 4 scum to find between 6 players (including Ragian and Annieh)

What would be the odds that both Kong and Strike flip town now?

And it would be so ballsy to go for Homer and then post how ballsy that is...

There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact.

Proposal to call him King Cod, all in favor say ay:
\ (•◡•) /\ (•◡•) /\ (•◡•) /\ (•◡•) /\ (•◡•) /\ (•◡•) /\ (•◡•) /
Looks like the motion passes.

So how do we catch scum without a good voting history and while minimizing info revealed? Hope someone steps forward with something useful? Catch two people with conflicting accounts?

I'm fine leaving it ambiguous whether our dear Homer died because Sonic protected someone else or because he protected no one last night.

I consider Kong's approach to revealing info valid. That's based on a theory that scummier players aren't reading as closely and will have a harder time picking up on subtleties. Situation depending, I guess.

I completely read "cup of hot tea" in a queer culture "spill the tea, girl" way and not the Brits are always offering each other tea way  . I can believe someone sent the tea to our most vetted mouthpiece and that Dev II is a good cop.
