@people who act scummy... The point is to maximize the information you have. By investigating lurkers and others who you cant get a read on you maximize what you know, if you investigate only people you have suspicion on then are limiting the info the town gains, as if they are active further posting by them will likely convince you one way or the other eventually.

If Iliad were godfather lynching him wouldn't be bad I was just pointing out there are many ways in which they are not necessarily the same alignment.

Where in that post do I say I'm sure? One of the listed possibilities is that skoffin is scum and lying about being a cop.

Of course "cause I feel like it" isn't a reason or explanation, I just never gave one. I have reasons for feeling like it, but I really don't feel like explaining myself, hence the cop out.
Well admittedly I'm not that experienced at mafia.. but in the 4 or 5 games I've played thats always how cops have acted, and how I'd act as a cop. As I thought was pretty clear from the context, I was referring to Iliad when I said "how can you be that sure someone's cop"- i.e say lynch me instead of Skoffin, unless you're in fact scum buddies.

Its possible here that thats how the cops play, but on the other forums I've played on the experienced players would have agreed with me.

Then your argument wasn't so much "Logic suggests they are both town or both mafia" Like I presumed, but instead "behavioral evidence suggests they are mafia together"? So you suggest we lynch skoffin even if Iliad is a godfather then? The only way I could see that gambit working as scum would be if he were one.

I don't really know what you're getting at here. I think they're scum because they've been aligning themselves together the whole game, and their votes were both on Cena. If Iliad is Godfather, yes I think still think we should lynch Skoffin. If Iliad is mafia but not Godfather it just makes it even more concrete

I DON'T PLAY THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE I play the way I want and how I think would be most effective, just because everyother nub on here wants to have the exact same style of play doesn't mean I have to. Heh this is marvelous really, the people I believe to be town are accused of being a scum triangle whereas the people I think are scum are saints. I'd feel bad but then the sooner I die the sooner I can go to other games

Now if you guys really want to go the 'play the way everyone else does route' then you would lynch Iliad first o' course, as a way of seeing what I am. It will be a pretty stupid move at this point, but so be it.
He it comes out town then I am cop, and I will shake my head and mutter 'dickheads' under my breathe as we try to work out where to go from there.
If he comes out Godfather... well, boy will my face be red eh? But then if he is, we don't have anything to lose. I would likely be lynched tomorrow, but then again a godfather will be down so it's not so bad a tradeoff.
If you lot decide to lynch me off first then when I come up as the cop I will laugh all the way to the bank.

I'd still prefer to lynch Willy-boy o'course, but if necessary to prove myself then I suppose we should go the Iliad route. Although depending on scum numbers we may completly screw ourselves over.
