Last night I dreamt that all my teeth fell out one by one in a bloody mess.muy_thaiguy wrote:I hate having teeth pulled. The first day isn't so bad, as you're pretty well numbed up and you have painkillers for afterwards. But once you run out of painkillers, dear lord does your life get miserable quickly. It hurts to eat, drink, and even just move your mouth. The worst part? Ibprofen and tylonal have NO effect.

Very true. Still hurts though.pancakemix wrote:Last night I dreamt that all my teeth fell out one by one in a bloody mess.muy_thaiguy wrote:I hate having teeth pulled. So it could be worse.

Also, after 7 years, I have finally replaced my old laptop with a brand new one! It's awesome! Minecraft for example, I can have it on 16 chunks fancy graphics with no lag while on my desktop I can only do 4-6 chunks, simple graphics, and have some lag.
f*ck. That. Shit.targetman377 wrote:muy_thaiguy wrote:Very true. You say that, but then you realize that no one wants to hire you. I'm currently in month 2 of post-graduation job hunting with few prospects. Not saying to despair but be forewarned.targetman377 wrote:thanks yeah!! i can't wait!!! to be done!areyouincahoots wrote:Hey, congrats! I've been keeping active with theatre stuff. I finished up a stage managing gig a about a month ago (which I'm having a hard time comprehendingmuy_thaiguy wrote:Yeah, job hunting sucks. Unless you have manager experience, not many places that you want to work at will hire you. You'll probably be stuck with a fast food job or something for awhile.
PS, getting used to my new keyboard for my new laptop. Has little spaces between the keys which keeps throwing me off. On the positive side, I can now play Empire Total War on medium graphics, whereas prior to this, I could just barely run it on the lowest settings. Same goes for minecraft. I can now load about 16 chunks on fancy graphics with practically no lag. Before, I could barely run 6 chunks on fast graphics, and usually have some lag.

I just use the standard set for it, non Mac. But the Xbox controller for the Xbox version is most comfortable to me. It's a bit weird using it on the computer though. I do reroute the inventory key to "I" though.pancakemix wrote:I've been keeping active with theatre stuff. I'd say that biggest thing is to not idle while you're job hunting because if you do you'll just get down about yourself.
When I play Minecraft, I usually use the keyboard from my old PC and a two-button mouse (I play on a MacBook). That lets me lean back instead of hunching over while I play, and the keys fit my hand better than the MacBook keys.
I graduated college a little over three years ago, and it definitely took me awhile to find a job that actually pays well. I worked two and three jobs at a time after school for a few years, but all that hard work (college) really does eventually pay off. I wish you the best of luck in your job-hunting adventure!! My only advice would be to keep an open mind.pancakemix wrote:You say that, but then you realize that no one wants to hire you.
