Anyway, people seemed to look down on me reminding Dazey to post. It almost got her killed Squirrel said not to contact her earlier in the day. If i get his permission i will call her- but I really hate to bother her about mafia. Really its quite trivial to her right now. I mean she likes playing but....

This actually isn't true. It's a whole lot more complicated than that. Mr. Squirrel put together some interesting roles that seem to be intertwined. All I am saying is that I know who 2 townies are and depending on what Daze says, I can call her out on a lie. Maybe this is why she didn't explain, because she was afraid of getting called out on it.

Ok yeah you shouldn't have mentioned that whether you think that's what he is or not. Keep it to yourself. It's usually bad enough to say "oh I think blah de blah is the vig or so and so is the cop" where there's at least a doctor out there to protect them and while the chances of their being multiple town protector roles in this game we cannot guarrantee that nor could we guarantee the nature of those protective roles and whether they may or may not be handicapped in some fashion. A small FOS against you for even mentioning that.

I've had this nagging suspicion, about violet, however I held back due to the fact that I felt immature for voting for daze because she was posting in pink. Either she's scum, or she's fighting hard to prove she isn't (why would she if she isn't scum)

First of all UnVote.
If herk is what I think he is then my once fairly strong belief in Daze's claim is contradicted and shifted to herk's role that he hasn't claimed yet. I think I have his role all figured out, and hope that the scum can't do the same. Herk, don't post anything else that would help them figure out your role unless you are absolutely forced.

As for Daze. At this point the thing which caused me to believe her claim is gone. It might still be true, but I am no longer sure. My current theory is the the doctor reference in her claim was either meaningless, or a reference to her character's back story that won't help us out in any way, since both town and scum players could both have a doctor randomly mentioned in their flavor stories. The "doctor" could even mean the profession as opposed to the role in that case. Other possibilities where she actually has a connection with a doctor do exist, like lovers, however they can't really prove her alignment, just her linkedness...

Scums advantage lies in the fact that they have a kill night action coupled with them being allowed to coordinate with night talk, not in having the majority of active night actions.

So hypothetically speaking, if there are two townies, who are let's say doctors, and one mafia with a kill, the town have more actions, but overall, the mafia has benefit from the Night.
Now if there's a noob/random roleblocker, he might accidentally roleblock one of the doctors, but because of the chance of preventing the kill, the roleblocker still is an advantage to the town.

Why the noob roleblocker is still good for us

A: the noob/random roleblocker blocks one of the doctors - odds: 2/n (n being the number of players)
This is only negative to the town if the doctors chose the person that the mafia killed. Let's say, for ease, that these are random as well. The odds of the doctors picking right, is 2/n. So the chance that the noob roleblocker was negative to town is 4/n^2
B: the noob/random roleblocker blocks the killer - odds of being positive to town: 1/n

with 30 players, 1/n is way bigger than 4/n^2

(I was able to make it this simple because n is so big in this mafia)
(I can assure that with more roleblockers/killers/doctors, the noob roleblocker is still positive. Proof for every possible situation would take long, but I made these calculations to show you a general sense of the roleblocker is good, even when noob)
