I'm going to go with Ray Bourque, as it's vaguely possible that he pulled this off.

Roy isnt even close, and although Bourgque played in 21 playoff games, he wasnt in 20 consecutively.

A hint is he played with a team from Montreal...

Yeah I know the guy had to play for Montreal, that much is obvious (which is why I went with Roy, though I knew it was wrong before I wrote it)

the answer was larry "big bird" robinson of the Montreal Canadiens, defenseman, who played 17 seasons with montreal and his final 3 with the LA Kings
