I think that historically, this depends on your point of view. New technologies can be said to have weakened the position of the Church, but ultimately strenghtened Europe and the West in general.

Even if you do manage to hit some scum, I believe odds are on favorite that you will kill enough townspeople to hurt town more than help with the killings.

Wow, a lot has happened here in the last day. What I really like are the theories going all about. But, here is my two-cents:

This game is called the "Re-Inquisition", so I think it highly likely that Aimless is using the same setup. And yes, LSU has been reckless with his coughing which implies he's careless, or playing dumb. Either way it threatens the town. So, I denounce LSU .

Also, I find it odd that ga7 made the joke about the mask and LSU started using it in his posts. Then, through some of his later posts, it sounds like he agrees enough with the rest of us, but defends LSU's actions just enough not to denounce him. So, I think in one capacity or another, ga7 and LSU are working together. So, denounce ga7. It makes sense to think that LSU isn't working alone if you consider the setup of the original Inquisition game. Anyway, that's all I have for now. We'll see what happens in the next day or so to the players that were coughed on.

Well, I do understand your thinking Talapus. However, I still want to base my denunciation on facts, and stated many times now that I'll be more than ready to vote LSU should day kills come as we expected. I also stated why I have lingering doubts. I'm not just defending LSU there, I'm defending the benefit of the doubt; I have a hard time believing he has a scum role when Nag originally pointed the evidence towards LSU in no time after the daykills. And again, whether he's town or not, if he just killed carelessly two of us I want him lynched.

Concerning my Koesen vote, I'll have to keep my explanations for tomorrow as I'm fucking dead and my brain feels like when you cut open a watermelon.
Still find the whole thing fishy anyway

On the one hand, if LSU is pro-town then we could use (i.e ask him to cough on person X) his disease spreading ability to infect suspected scum. BUT, since we can denounce as many people as we like in a day, there isn't much use for this ability at all.

On the other hand, if he is scum, then he is exceptionally dangerous. Wicked has a point, in that he is coughing rather freely.

Denounce: LSU. Whether he is pro-town or pro-scum, I believe we're better off without the black plague.

1. to see if the same cycle of deaths takes place like yesterday
2. to see if LSU has any kind of defence to these accusations, so far he hasn't exactly been straight with us and I don't like that but it would be useful for him to share exactly his role details.

This is just a thought, but if LSU dies, would it be possible that the plague would be assigned to someone else?

I'm not defending LSU, but one of the ways the plague spread historically was by contact with the corpse in question. With that in mind, lynching LSU might not get rid of the plague, but I am curious of how much LSU knows about his role besides what he told us.

I don't know, I was hoping it would go away. It seems to have no trouble spreading such as it is, so I doubt killing him will make things worse. In fact, as you all know by now, I think they'll make things much better

I know this'll look scummy, but I think it's in our best interests to get rid of LSU before the midpoint in this day, which is coming quickly (I need to go back and look at exactly when). Maybe we can prevent the day deaths from happening that way. In the chance he's being framed, the scum would not be able to pull that again.

Name is Sick John. I'm a survivor. As I said before I'm as puzzled as to anyone why two deaths happen. Coughing is a way to help diagnose someone that is scum or not as scum would definitely live through a cough while townies have a 5/6 chance of living through it. People that were already coughed on are fine for living and as long as I keep my coughs on them until their death then I'm ok to post although Aimless did suggest that it would be best for me to cough on at least one new person each day. He didn't explain why, but being that this is a strange role, I'm just going with what he suggested. Right now, I'm leaning to him doing that just to get his laughs at how paranoid people are acting. As the only ones that died from it were yesterday without any of us fully understanding the situation. New info is just stuff I've found out since day 2 other then him suggesting a cough on a new person each day

¿Que? I don't understand your reasoning. I pointed that out because people were wasting time speculating on something that didn't matter. If you voted for me because I denounced you then first that's OMGUS. Second I denounced you because if you are responsible for the deaths you are too dangerous to have around. That was my reasoning before you're post tho...

Coughing as a way to find scum? So aimless told specifically told you the chances of death for town and scum? Well this is not a good way of finding scum at all. A townie has such a high chance of surviving, you won't really know if they are town or not until they die. And you can only kill town? So you're basically you're a cop with no guarantee of finding scum that has a chance to kill off a townie everytime he investigates? That role sucks
