No, every time I've been recruited I got a pm saying that I was now a Mason or whatever cult it was. However I've never had it happen in a Exile game so I can't speak as to what rules he uses as it's mods choice (obviously).
The kwanton lead does look good but I suggest no one drop the hammer till we hear from him at least.

Have you ever had it happen that two different cults try to recruit you?
Me neither. In an odd situation like this who knows what choices the mod would give? I was given three choices, join one or the other or neither. In that situation, my reasoning was neither side had any advantage over each other or the town. That early in the game, the town still had a large numbers advantage. Also, the chances one of the two would try to recruit me again were high since the two were told the choice I chose. If I wanted to join at a later time then the option would probably be available to me.
I'm still a barbarian. I'm still a townie. Any questions?

in civil war when i tried to recruit someone and ended being killed by them
Nah, to think they'd just try again later is not much of an argument. Whether or not you had the option, I can't believe you didn't take it. Basically we have at hands the lynch of a probable Talos recruit, otherwise townie, who would also bring infos on whether or not the cult could recruit whoever or only the believers of their own religion, and if there really is a choice in being recruited. Cons: nada.
You don't know the cons? I wish I could post my win condition cause if you were townie then you would know the cons. I can usually survive til the end if I'm townie. So there's a part in my role that would benefit me if I remained townie. It's me specifically though and my playstyle. Actually now that you bring it up, there's something in my role PM that confuses me.
Lol, the only WC related cons I see is that if you happen to really be town, it gives the Talos freaks another night to recruit and that bugs me. But since you're our only and safest lead to them, I don't see why we shouldn't take a shot.
I know townies are useful but still... And are you trying to hint at a locked role now?

If I could I would. I said before I wasn't given the names. I actually caught one of them for you. Lathander and Talos both tried to recruit me but I wasn't given the names. The only way I would have been is if I had accepted one of the offers. The only reason I knew about nag was because he knew that I was visited. The only way he would know that is if he tried recruiting me.
Hmm, unvote for now. Sure I still find Kwanton's motives suspicious, but hey, everybody likes to play this game differently so that doesn't mean he can't be telling the truth. I propose waiting a little longer, because I'm still hoping one of the gods will bless us with some clues.
Meh, I'm starting to doubt we'll get any help from the gods as Mandy must be sitting tight and hope that we don't find his followers, and the others lost their chance to dominate... Ah well, we still have about 2 days.

No I haven't, and I believe that you stayed town for exactly the reason you pointed out, neither cult has any real advantage over the town's numbers.

That bolded part makes me think its safer to lynch Kwanton...
