The corrupt Captain Mark McLuskey was looking for a mafia to join and help reaffirm his position as police chief. However, his plans were ruined by / who stated that he could not be trusted by the town as he was not doing his job properly. With agreement from the senator Pat Geary, McLuskey taken away and hung. However, it was revealed at death that he had not yet done anything wrong, even if he had motive to do so.

It is now August 1955, the country's political environment is changing with the country entering a bitter cold war against the Soviet Union. With the death of a corrupt cop, moods in the country were relatively high, as corruption was beginning to be stamped out. However, bloodshed was still taking place. The Corleones had planned a murder... That was of Apollonia Vitelli-Corleone. The Don Vito Corleone, despite being an old man was put in charge of setting the death up. A car bomb was planted at the bottom of Appollonia's car, to be set off when the ignition was started. The Don Vito waited patiently in the corner for the bomb to be set off. However, as fate would have it, due to an error with the purchasement of the car bomb the explosion was far greater than anticipated and the Don was blown up in the blast.

F1fth - Don Vito Corleone ( Corleone Old Mafia Godfather) has died in the bomb explosion!




Fredo Corleone, when hearing of his father's death went into shock. Being a man suffering of cowardice, he ran away looking for somewhere to hide. He went to take shelter when suddenly, he was grabbed by the scruff of the neck.

All, in all it has been a good decade for stamping out the evil mafias that lurk in this town. However, the war is still going on and townmembers must remain vigilant if they want to catch these crooks.


In other news, with the death of Don Vito Corleone, it has emerged that Michael Corleone will take over the reigns as the Godfather and is now in charge of the Corleone Mafia...

Actually I disagree with that assessment by Mandy if he is referring to two separate Corleone mafias because both of the mafia dead guys are listed just as "Corleone mafia ..." Yesterday though we did have a concensus that there was most likely at least one other mafia out there besides the Corleones. I'll save my vote until after / speaks up and see if he found a guilty verdict.

Reading the scene I think it is safe to say that the hider was not involved in the bomb seeing how F1fth was blown to hell when he attacked MountainLion

That was a damn good night. I bet you f1fth was pissed when he sent in the kill on ML and done blowed himself up over a Survivor, lol. My question is though, if a hider hides behind someone who's protected but targeted for a kill, does the hider die? I've only been a hider once or twice and usually choose my targets poorly...

Anywho, vote: riggable. No I won't offer any reasons as to why.

And for the record, the kids are teens now, at least 1 of them will become scum but I'm not sure which as obviously I don't know who's who (watch the movie).

I don't believe that F1fth knew who Apollonia was MountainLion. I've never seen the films so I'm approaching this blind. MountainLion was listed as survivor/bomb so that to me is irrevelent to determining if there were two mafias or not. The only part that was relevent to me is that the Godfather blew himself up over a survivor Looking at the deaths though, it really isn't "obvious" to me that we do in fact have a 2nd mafia at this time. The first two night deaths were attributed to ML being a bomb and blowing up the person targeting him while the other night death is a hider so he may have just chosen poorly on who to go hide with.

The day kills though might be from a 2nd mafia family or we evidently have two serial killers or some combination.

In regards to their being good and bad members of both the Corleone and/or New York City, I was positive of that after the lynch of the "corrupt" cop.
