Ahem. Thing is, if someone else claimed the role, should we believe them? I've played games before where one person claimed cop or doc, then someone else said that they were and the other was lying, so everyone killed the real doc/cop. So be wary, always.

I repeat my main point of evidence:
Mandalorian says he's been investigating people all along, ergo, he's not a back up cop. The sane cop being dead, that makes him extremely unreliable, whether he's a liar or a nut case (or, since we're talking about Mandalorian, both).
I agree that a back up Cop does not work here, but Mandy never said he was a back up Cop.
Mandy why did you roleclaim so fast? and how did you happen to investigate gimpy on the first night? are you THAT bad of a cop that you investigated one of the night 1 kills? why did you investigate gimpy?
I suspect Mandy to be paranoid (always guilty results). The fact that gimpy came up scum may have been mere coincidence and convinced him of his sanity. That's all I've got right now.
As I've already said, sometimes the backup cop gets all previous investigations, so that might be how Mandy knew, or he's filthy lying scum. We won't know until tonight.

Hmm... well, he's either scum, paranoid, or a second independent sane cop, which I find highly unlikely based on the character description from the wiki link and that 2 sane cops would be overpowering. So, if he IS Bullock, he's not sane.
Mandy, if you are a town cop and you want to confirm your sanity, why don't you investigate yourself tonight?
That's the only way where, if you get mafia again, you will know you haven't simply been amazingly lucky, and you don't even have to lynch innocent townies for it.

You're not allowed to investigate yourself, not usually. It's like doc protection.
I don't think confirming sanity is an issue anymore. Now we have to figure out how to deal with an insane/paranoid cop. And also the fact that there are 2 townie(maybe) roles out in the open.

If you look at it very simply, Mandy's actions have given us a lot of questions. If he's Pro-Gotham, why would he do that? He's an experienced player, and I don't think he would prematurely roleclaim like this...unless he has scummy reasons?

Well, I'm not sure who to believe. Mandy roleclaims for no real good reason, as there was no real pressure on him to do so.
He claims cop, and fingers Koesen. Koesen claims to be town, and innocent.
