I'm here for about another half hour, then I'll be back late Sunday or Monday morning. I didn't make a kill last night, and my role is not capable of making a kill.

I am not the joat...so I am not sure where that leaves us. soundman to me was hinting that he was the vig with his first strong statement about being certain the kill was a joat kill. in light of soundman's claim...it adds up to a strong town vibe to me. It looks to me like he tried to put it out there and he has been consistant. everything points to a joat kill in my book...so I say the search continues.

Well today we have a lynch between: dj, drunkmonkey and alt. Dj claimed the JOAT was above him, the other two claimed not to be the JOAT.

I would like to hear from the 3 on who they suspect out of the other two before I state my own opinion.

PMC, if it is a JOAT kill, we don't need to go after him the same way that we went after the vig. No point. No more townies will die by his hands. The only thing we need to do is good ol' fashioned scum hunting.

That is true on one hand but on the other it would be a very easy pick out. JOAT was top of my list and probably most other peoples, I am fairly certain we could work out who the JOAT is. If we believe soundman then the JOAT must be mafia (or else very stupid), would finding the JOAT not be a good way to scumhunt?

You are right however, we can assume that there will only be one kill per night from now on. This gives us 2 mislynches rather than 1, so it is not necessary to JOAT hunt. If someone has a decent case I will be happy to listen to it.

The JOAT was also on the top of my list and Im third but I didnt get it either so that limits that down to 2. This was also the reason I was trying to determine the methods of kills earlier.

I also put JOAT higher than the role I got, if fireside is genuine then either drunkmonkey or alt are lying...

At the moment, I am pushing towards monkey - I made a case against MoB on day one for a few shady tells that he had dropped - drunkmonkey hasn't really offered anything to the table since replacing that has given a strong pro-town vibe. I think both ought to claim though, and we'lll see if anyone counters..

Fast posted by pmc...sorry for the double post....but to clarify...i am on the road and posting from my phone. Which is not a small feat for my huge thumbs. Pmc...thats a pretty fast rush to judgement. If I were mafia...i would certainly try to conjure as many cases as I could if my attempt at a mass claim failed. After your epic waffling on ghostly...i think a definite pattern is emerging.

First off its a 3 way and I don't want all of them to have to claim so don't claim just yet.

Honestly I am quite good at being mafia, but I am not this good. I like to build cases, I still think ghostly is an ok lynch and has a decent chance of flipping scum but I didn't want to waste today and I doubt many people would claim that town are in a worse off position because of it. I build cases and I apply pressure, when I am inevitably night killed I hope to leave behind enough information to win. That is the pattern.

Now you have drunkmonkey and dj sitting in front of you and one must be the JOAT FYPOV, so who do you think it is?

Dj is number 3, if he is lying then he is mafia, if he is telling the truth then either you or dunkmonkey are the JOAT. I don't see the problem?

Well, clearly one of drunk, alt, or dj are lying. And in my opinion, either alt isn't paying attention or he's doing a terrible job of trying to deflect the case off of him.

Still on phone...on the road...but that was a screw up by me. I still had mob picking second in my head...i failed to check the op...it is true that dj picked third...and I have made myaelf look pretty scummy there by not taking the extra time to check the op. Bad play on my part. I thought the joat could be me...mob...or drunkmonkey...or dj's list was suspect.
For what its worth...i'm still not the joat...although I have done little to be convincing.

Isn't this kinda a stupid question? I mean , yeah he is going to have to point a finger at someone, he is in the hot seat at the moment, but why should we trust any of them atm really? Also, all the joat has to do is keep his mouth shut if he is scum (duh at this point, although this doesn't rule out scum vig imo) and then were are going to have to go about lynching/forcing power roles to claim.

I do think this is the way we have to go about this, but god is it going to be a mess is all.

Well I'm not saying that I trust him, but I still want to know what he thinks. He said that it could be drunk, or it could be DJ, but never committed to either position. I want him to do that, or at least give his thoughts about who he thinks it is most likely to be.

Well, I am not certain of the best way to proceed at the moment. I looks like we are going to just have to pick someone to pressure and see what sort of claim they can come up with. Anybody have a favorite candidate for where to start?

I do nto see any way we can proceed besides at least finding out which one is the JOAT because if we dont find that out then we are going to be leaving a (apparent) mafia who doesnt want to claim.
