I think I'm getting your angle Ha x 3. I agree the numbers of just Jews that were counted are brutal. If anyone starts with that, "Oh well Stallin was worse." You're probably a nazi or a nazi sympathiser.

Of course I don't mean everyone that was in the area, of a particular nationality or colour, or even everyone in the uniform. I mean the guys that liked what they were doing. I've met a few people that still think that way. Watching the films make me realise how nasty it really is.

It wasn't just the hyper inflation. Political instability and the using of scape goats on Jews, Communists, Socialists and others allowed the Right to govern how they saw fit. They even thought they could control Hitler (which, as we all know, didn't work according to plan). Hell, in the Schliemann era, hyper inflation was actually down (though this was because of the constant loans from the USA) and only cause of the Wall Street Crash of '29 which made USA call back all loan repayments caused massive hyper inflation and a rise in the Nazi support/other right support. However, if the WSC didn't happen, then the Dawes and Young Plan probably would of worked out, but there was going to be a time before 1988 (I think that is the approximate year) that would of screwed up those plans. Enter Nationalist Socialist Workers Party.
One thing that was great in the Weimar Republic was the stay of equality between male and female and not being judged for what you did. However, the political instability and murdering and scapegoating and the stupid constitution it had and the short term loans didn't help it.

Anyway, I've seen a few documentaries about the Nazi's and yada yada yada in Modern History class. Seeing mass dead bodies bulldozed into holes and the lines of Jews as they got to the concentration camps (they (The Nazi's) actually split the lines up between pregnant women, children, old and disabled, and a separate line for the men. Men could work, who couldn't and so died first? Yeah, that was sad). I've seen (through the documentaries) charred remains of those who went into the furnace (after everywhere of the body, up the anus and everything, was searched for anything valuable). Awful stuff, and the stories of how they got dwarves and twins and did surgery on them, cutting off each of their arms and putting it on the other twin to see if it would work. Horrible, horrible things.

I'm not one to leap to S0S's defence, and have often told him off - but if what you get from his post is that he's a racist, you probably think I'm (hunts for suitably unlikley possibility...) a car mechanic.

Well.. They did attach them.. Just didn't attach the nerve endings. Nevertheless, those numerous twins probably got gassed as well.

The wonderfull advances in birthcontrol, dive tables and other medical areas are clearly way beyond the capabilities of discussion here. I'll stick with my opinion that "using Juden instead of lab rats/chimps because they share more traits with humans." as being racist, but hey, at least they wern't as bad as Stallin. Eh?

Well that kind of depends on wether or not he tells himself that doesn't it?

Regardless you have not posted anything that would lead me to think you're a automotive mechanic. I do find it a little odd that you don't think placing "every single German" in any particular catagory other than being born in the same country would be racist. I suppose nationality isn't race so I have miss used the term but I have heard jewish isn't a race either.

I don't think you understand my point of view at all buddy. I was responding to the asswipe who called Hitler an idiot, which is just one of the dumbest statements I've ever heard.

Hitler wasn't an idiot, he was just mentally unstable and an avid drug user.

Fair enough. Actually there were several members making that sort of statement. Like I said, if he was missleading his staff that supposedly knew what they were doing and could have won if he had not prevented them. I think they would have revolted.

Do you wish to share your point of view or should we keep guessing? To me your first post apeared to be sarcastic. I didn't realise I was mistaken. So you think you can out do his numbers for real or what? Have you worked out a schedule for this?

So a person is labelled as mentally unstable if their opinions differ from yours? And as for a drug user, that was never proven.

No, he was mentally unstable, as he was making irrational tactics and ideas near the end of the war (such as not giving into a ceasefire, when many of his generals believed they should seeming it was known Germany was going to lose). It has nothing to do with having a different opinion to mine (in fact, I am always in awe in the speed he conquered almost the whole of Europe in such a short time, but of course that means nothing).
As for the drugs, it is well believed he was addicted to them. Adolf Hitler and methamphetamine. Daily doses injected by his doctor.

I'm sure he'll leap to his own defence, but he'll probably be swearing and flingin insults around. Which has always been my problem with him. I just wanted to say, he wasn't saying what you thought he said. What I think he meant to say was that thinking only Germans and Austrians are capable of atrocities, or that ordinary people of other places are not, is taking the wrong lesson from history.

To your other question...I cannot express my true opinions seeing that Xtrata got banned for his opinions on the holocaust. Hmmm. Well the intent of my follow up was to agree with the sarcasm as far as... In my opinion anyone thinking Hitler was an idiot can't possibly be thinking this out or must be missing tons of information somehow. I'm tired of the "Stallin" was worse thing. The break was meant to seperate the second part where I was defending myself against the "Stop saying all the Germans were nazis" which I never said. In fact right away in the thread I specifically stated "not all the Germans were."

Also I don't think today's American politics can be used to run the America of WWII nevermind the WWII nazis. I could be wrong again but I think I agree with you there too.

Sounds like you might value the medical advancements gained from the nazis. I can understand that and agree that they contributed some extreamly valuable things to modern medicine. I must admit though I am totally opposed to using people to experiment with, especially in the ways they went about it. Reading or hearing about details is quite horrible.

If you're a holocaust denier I won't judge you but I am surprised. I think there's pretty good evidence even with the attempts to reduce all signs of it after the war. To me that seems similar to the twits playing armchair "furer" thinking with today's information they could out take over Russia.

Well, he took a portion of my sentence, quoted it, then started his babble with the full sentence I quoted. Even though several times in this thread I had stated my position that "German does not equal nazi." Then he went on to say, "Well you know, they were just like you but ended up taking orders etc.."sic.

No, they were not just like me and I have known nazis and nazi apologetics in real life. While I remain more than fairly nuetral toward them, their thoughts are not just like mine either. I do have the advantage of being able to check my emotions to discuss things with them but I am thankfull I have not had to kill anyone, let alone wanted to or enjoyed it. So to be honest I currently don't care what Sultan had further to say on the subject. Should I?
