Well, I think what he was saying is that day one usually is long and uneventful. Which is usually the case. Day one is a time for tedious searching for the slightest of scum-slips that might help later on in the game. All but the most veteran of mafia players find day one to be very boring because of the lack of information to discuss. Mostly day one is just throwing around joke-votes until someone gives a noticeable tell to their role.MeDeFe wrote:You yearn for night? That or plays questionably as both colton and wercool have done IMHO. However, I'm a strong believer in taking the player into consideration and both of them have shown questionable judgment in their posts in the past and I'm willing to give them a slight bit of leeway. That said, I've got nothing to draw on with some of the new players here which means that I won't be able to tell as easily.jrl332005 wrote:Well, I think what he was saying is that day one usually is long and uneventful. I hate day 1 haters sooooooooooooo much.duday53 wrote:I hate day 1 soooooooooooooo much.
I disagree. Why should we give leeway to certain players? Should we question poor judgment any less simply because it is coming from a less experienced player? If someone gives a strong scumtell, will we let them get away with it just because they are new or maybe just a bad player?safariguy5 wrote:That or plays questionably as both colton and wercool have done IMHO. In one of my first games on this site, I played a scum role and I was able to use my 'newbie' status to get out of a few accusations. Knowing this, I would rather not take the chance and let them off easy.safariguy5 wrote:That or plays questionably as both colton and wercool have done IMHO. I know this isn't a solid scumtell, but I find your post just now very revealing. To me it seems like you are buddying and refusing to contribute by not pressing for info. vote safariguy

I made an observation and nothing more.aage wrote:(EBWOP)I just noticed Safari and Naxus already had mentioned this, sorry for me not noticing.aage wrote:Hey, this isn't really going anywhere. Also I'd like to add that I am FoS'ing Squirrel. I'm not interested in him dead (yet), but I don't like the attitude he's taking up against Safari.
pmchugh wrote: If I wasn't lazy, I would sig that
Mr. Squirrel didn't take up an attitude toward safari. He merely stated that we should treat all players as equals when examining for scuminess. It doesn't matter how a player acts because he/she could use their past to excuse there actions now if we allow any leeway whatsoever.aage wrote:(EBWOP)I just noticed Safari and Naxus already had mentioned this, sorry for me not noticing.aage wrote:Hey, this isn't really going anywhere. You made an observation, followed up by an accusation, and a vote. (Which was close to turning into a bandwagon.) Would you call that nothing more?Mr. Squirrel wrote:ummm.... could you explain a bit more? What's so bad about what I said about safari?
