I feel like, either Herk was really wronged here, or he's sticking it to a MOD just because he's a MOD. That's Herk's style, one or the other. I really can't believe Herk care's enough to start a discussion like this to insulate himself in any way. I don't think he cares what anyone thinks about him.

Maybe he does want some acceptance and to be one of the forum regs. I could see that, and it would explain some of his behaviors like going for the game record and fighting mods that he doesn't even know. People would do that sort of thing for acceptance. Sure he could be a toad, but he could also be one of those guys with a finger on each hand up, screaming "I DON'T GIVE A F*CK!!!" Right now I think it's impossible to tell with him. So I'm going to take him at his word, that what he says is how he feels. And then we'll see what the opposition says.

Anyways, I think it may be one of those times when it may be smart for the accused to be silent. He could come in here and deny it all he wants and people may or may not believe him. So instead of stirring things up, he may be doing the smart thing here by staying silent.

Also, it will be very easy for him to prove his innocence. Simply report the PM where we talked about these games or exchanged a pw.

In other words Herk is saying no pm or discussion exists in re of those private games.

Because Joshyboy couldn't have invited him to the games? I don't know weather or not joshy is innocent or guilty, that is for the admins/multi hunters to decide but this idea that because he didnt exchange a pw via pm/wall he is guilty is just faulty logic at best.

Joshyboy has been a bully in the suggestions forum and has shuttered and spammed suggestions (some created by me) in the suggestions forum. I reported him, and never got a response except once from another mod informing me that the report was closed.

I have been accused of violations in the past and I attempted to stay out of the conversation (to "prove" my innocence.) However, the argument was made that my silence would "do me in." I finally commented, made my case, and the case was dismissed.

If there is to be transparency in this process and the law&order on this site is to be respected, then JoshyBoy should speak up and the punishment should be made public. This will encourage other players to speak up when a mod misbehaves. However, if this mod does not speak up, I believe that silence lends itself to a de facto statement to the community that the mods are both untouchable and above the law.

With what information we have, we can all make a pretty good guesstimate about what's been going on around here. The de facto rule is that if you have nothing to hide, then you just tell the truth.* And no, I'm not being hypocritical here. His silence doesn't erase what information the community already does have.

It's clear that he's guilty, the only problem is dealing with it. Can CC sweep this under the rug? The fact that it's herkman doing the accusing makes it much easier to cover it up. Joshyboy should really go for this, he knows so he's staying silent. I'm expecting a cleared verdict and this will all be forgotten about.

That's right, I support his decision to stay quiet. I didn't support that whole debacle that happened in GD a few months ago that involved him. If he is convicted of this, I will still have supported him being silent.

I know he just had his sabbatical, I am not as dumb as I seem. Although I am still pretty dumb

Hardly defending him, as you can note i say i dont know if he is innocent or guilty, it is not for me to say what my assumptions are on the case but rather wait till the multi hunters rule on the case. I was simply claryfing that just because he didnt exchange a pw did not mean he was guilty.

Also i have already apologized for sending you a pm when you blocked pm's from being received, I was not aware in any way that you had done that or that i had the ability as a mod to still send you a pm.
