Ah, that makes more sense. John Smith rocks.safariguy5 wrote:I'm pretty sure he's a hippy judging by the purple shade and tone.

Well, mafia often don't have PRs. They're expected to make fake PRs. Those who haven't displayed them yet should be pressured a tad bit. It doesn't automatically mean they're scum though.safariguy5 wrote:Anyways, besides all the fun PR's everyone has, let's go by what we know so far.
1. The majority of people have PR's. Quite funny/good ones too.
2. A few don't (me and shield) or asked for a nerf (edoc).
The main question I think we want to go with Day 1 would be this: Do we want to pressure those who don't have PR's or do we want to just do a slightly more random bandwagon. I understand if you wanna pressure me, though I'm pretty sure that naxus wouldn't be so naive as to give all the guards or whoever's the mafia no PR's as that would make it pretty easy to find them.
As of right now, nobody has looked suspicious to me (I guess the PR's do cover that up a bit).
Problem with Day 1 is that pressure usually results in a claim. A little bit of pressure doesn't really do much. And the idea that mafia make up PR's is bordering on WIFOM. If you're mafia, maybe you purposely don't make up a PR so people don't think you're mafia. It's circular logic.evilchaos wrote:Well, mafia often don't have PRs. They're expected to make fake PRs. Damn, I totally forgot to praise John Smith. I will make up for my treachery now.safariguy5 wrote:Problem with Day 1 is that pressure usually results in a claim. Speaking of which, where's John Smith?
We should go hang out with John Smith (the best man ever), and listen to some hippie music. It will be chill.snowvillage wrote:Look, I'm all about freedom and individuality. Everyone has their own ether that they gotta explore, and I will gladly lend my fellow man a hand by helping them reach their destination. But some of these cats, these righteous PRs, are doin' too much thinking, and not enough feeeling. I say we show them the way to peace and harmony, even it means a little tough love. You mellow dudes with bland personalities, I can wait for you to come out of your shells. Life ain't a race, friends.

The question therefore is, with 9 people (probably 2 mafia), who looks promising? I dunno about MeDeFe, his posts haven't been that memorable or numerous enough to nail down a hard pr for me.evilchaos wrote:So let's run down the PRs...
Yoshi talks in Beatles lyrics.
Edoc had a blatant PR but begged it off.
Sully is western.
Safari has nothing.
Medefe is some type of conspiracy theorist or something.
Snowvillage is some type of hippie, and is extremely good at post restrictions for his first game.
Shield doesn't seem to have a PR.
I believe that John Smith is the best person ever.
Com9 is something that has to do with electricity (possibly a mad scientist of sorts?).

After re-reading this game, this is the only post I really find suspect. Sully's title of "Sheriff" at the bottom seems to suggest he's the cop, but the fact that this is the only time he posted like that means it isn't part of a PR. Would a real cop call himself the sheriff if he wasn't required to? An experienced cop would know not to reveal himself. Seems kind of scummy, but it's a relatively weak case and a bit of WIFOM.Victor Sullivan wrote:^^ I like this guy ^^
Might just have to make him my Deputy, there ain't enough law enforcement in the world to rid this town of them scumbag outlaws...

He has pushed the Western theme. I think you might be reading a bit too much into him referring to himself as a Sheriff. Is it safe to assume this is a C9 setup?evilchaos wrote:After re-reading this game, this is the only post I really find suspect. Yeah, that's why I said it was getting into WIFOM and was a weak case. I just felt I should point it out. No sense in keeping such an idea to myself when it could mean something later in the game.DoomYoshi wrote:He has pushed the Western theme. Judging by my role, I can tell you that it's not a C9 setup. Also, C9 has 7 players, not 9.DoomYoshi wrote:He has pushed the Western theme.
