Gee...if that was the case in my league I wouldn't have traded Steve Mason away.

Looks to me like the team with the fewest losses gets the point, not the team with the most...

Whoa. I should say I saw this coming, but stil, whoa.
What happened to my Ottawa Senators!!! At the end of last year, somehow the 'new team' gave us the best end-season in a while. I know that a rebuild doesn't happen overnight, but still!
And the Jets, sadly, aren't off to the best start. But who knows, maybe it's just a little turbulence.
The Canucks need to prove that they can be a consistent play-off contender this year. They could take a big step in either direction.
Habs aren't the best either, but I betting that will change.

Random thought that fellow Canadians may relate to: I really bloody can't stand Kevin Weekes on HNIC. I really think it's time to send him back to whatever idiot farm he came from. He's just horrid. Any plots to end his commentator career will be welcomed.

He's still pretty raw. Needs some work. On a related note...I didn't shed a tear when Pierre McGuire went to NBC this year.

Red Wings got a pretty nasty beating last night. Didn't think Capitals would be this good.

What the hell was up with the habs trade... Brock Trotter, top scoring player in the AHL team and a seventh round pick to phoenix for Petteri Nokelainen, a fourth line center and Stafford, a 33 year old AHL defenseman...

Ya, we know bro. Caps can win games when they don't matter. Just please wait until the playoffs when they get swept.

Just you wait. The Capitals will collapse. I'm betting a tragic defeat to Edmonton on Thursday.

My experience is that streaks often end against teams they should beat so they'll probably lose in Edmonton. But if they do win they'll have a tough road game against Vancouver a couple of days later.

Edmonton has been surprisingly good this year. A win over the Caps wouldn't be out of the question...

Edmonton is just having a hot start, I don't think they'll keep it going for much longer.
Also, I feel kinda of bad for the Jets.... I know they weren't a good team, but being in Canada should have helped them a little bit.... right?

If you need to feel bad for a Canadian team, feel bad for the Canadiens... 6 games with 34+ shots on goal, only 1 win

The most successful NHL team of all time? Nah...I don't think it is time to feel sorry for les bleue, blanc et rouge quite yet.

Just want to point out that I called this right. Oilers beat the Caps.

The Sens are giving me false hope. I don't like false hope. I like them winning...but not when they aren't supposed to be good. Scares me...
