But the reasoning could actually make sense in that opt would be a real word and therefore easier to pronounce as an acronym while otp stays as an abbreviation and has more syllables?

I disagree, even with loss against DYN - if we beat RA, with 2-1-1 score we are pretty much in contention. I think this group will be interesting 'till the last game finish.

Game 10530381 I don't think yellow is really interested in playing this game. Probably a little late, but someone should be watching his turns.

I have his pw, but I wasn't aware that he was missing turns. Would have been nice if a clanmate asked me to hop in for him before he was going to miss. As I am not in this game, I am not paying it any attention.

I agree that he is not interested in this tourney. He is also no longer on my roster.

There are a couple of scripts to help catch missing or close to missing turns. Speed turns among others

I have speed turns and lots of other add-ons. But I only watch the speed turns for myself. I've configured it for other users before, but I found that to be unreliable.

I would be interested in learning more about an add-on to catch missed turns.

You can use a combined view (instead of sitter etc) to see whats running low, and right click on it, to check the specifics of who has a turn up in which (for the people you've added to sitter view, and then your own turns and those who're in team games with you)

This is starting to shape up pretty good. Thru the first 3 weeks, the score should be

Dynasty- 5
Pack- 4
OTP- 2
BotFM- 1
RA-0

It seems likely The Pack will overtake first place, 2nd place will be Dynasty unless the Mermaids tie us by beating RA(week 4) and Pack(week 5). Otpisani cannot catch Dynasty.

Dynasty could still win the group if we can manage a tie vs Pack, and the Mermaids beat the Pack. Ofcourse if Dynasty pulled out the win vs Pack we will be uncatchable, but I think a tie is a more realistic hope at this point.

With all that said, my prediction is

Pack- 8
Dynasty- 5
OTP- 4
BotFM- 3
RA-0
I would also like to say, although the Risk Attackers may not score any points...they have played very well.

Thank you for the kind words pearljamrox2.

Do we really not have any points so far? I'm not completely sure how the points work. Do we get a point per game win, or per challenge we win?

But yes, I am sad to hear that we have none. Not even one

Nonetheless, I'm still proud of RA for our performance so far. We have come along way in just two months. Although RA has been in existence for 17 months now, we really are a brand new clan in many ways.

We've learned a lot, and the competition has been great so far!

We'll give our best effort in our remaining games. We will probably be placed in a low division in Phase 2, based on our results in Division F. If so, I am expecting RA to perform well in Phase 2.

You get 2 points for defeating a clan and 1 point for a tie.

When you consider that ours is one of the tougher divisions, and you guys didn't get blown out by anyone so far as I can tell, I think you represented yourselves very well. If it wasn't for the answa guy getting kicked, and the other one who didn't accept his invites...you would have atleast tied us.

I agree, once Phase 2 starts, RA will have a great chance of rising to the top of their new division. I think you will find, even if it is the lowest division, It will feel pretty good to be the clan left standing at the end of it.

actually RA will get 1 point as all the clans in this division will get 1 extra point due to being 1 clan short

DJ Teflon wrote:Game 10474382

After consulting with my co-dorector it has been ruled that this game cannot be recorded as a win for RA if they do win.

As per the rules, RA effectively missed 3 invites (the third invite would have been to an ineligible player).

Therefore, if RA win the game, it will be recorded as a draw for league purposes.

If DYN win the game then this stands.

Regards

Teflon
Relevant Rule
If invites from the Division Director are not accepted (a second invite will be sent), then the Division Director will send invites to random members of the clan failing to join on time. If these invites are not accepted (first invite to new player) then the offending clan will not be able to win the game in question for league purposes. If they do win, then the game will be declared a draw.. If both clans failed to accept third invites then the game will deemed to be a draw/tie. In these circumstances, games may still count towards other statistics, such as ranking systems.

By all means invite the original again, but, as per rules, the clan that has missed 3 invites can now no longer win the gamne (tournament-wise), they can only prevent the other team scoring a win :D-

Actually I have sent 2 invites, once for Judas on Wed
that on Fri tried, but so he was full,
so sent to Seamus just to see hes out of clan,
so immediately dropped a game and sent to Fuzzy.

Progression to Phase Two
  • Winners of each Division from phase 1 advance too division 1 in phase 2
also the top 1 clan in 2nd place (according to points, then games won/lost ratio) also qualifies for division 1 in phase 2.
  • The remaining 2nd placed clans in phase 1 advance too division 2 in phase 2
also the top 2 clans in 3rd place (according to points, then games won/lost ratio) also qualifies for division 2 in phase 2
  • The remaining 3rd placed clans in phase 1 advance too division 3 in phase 2
also the top 3 clans in 4th place (according to points, then games won/lost ratio) also qualifies for division 3 in phase 2
  • The remaining 4th placed clans in phase 1 advance too division 4 in phase 2
also the top 4 clans in 5th place (according to points, then games won/lost ratio) also qualifies for division 4 in phase 2
  • The remaining 7 clans advance to division 5
  • Clans in Divisions E to G will all automatically be awarded 1 point (and 6 game wins and losses) in view of equalising qualification possibilities for Phase Two vis-a-vis clans in larger Divisions playing one extra round.
